What's the Point of having the Year One DLC if you're not going to Deliver Ubisoft?

Just watched and read the STOG June 26th.
    My problem specifically?

"Episode 1 to be available on the PTS July 1st."

No, NO, NO!!! I specifically bought the package with the Year One Season Pass so I have early access to it in the main game.
From the Ubisoft Store: "Year one pass includes 7-day early access to all Year 1 Episodes"

NOW you want to put that content on the PTS were ANYONE can have early access? You need to explain to me why I should continue playing your games if that's what you're going to do from now on. I don't have any desire, nor the extra space to install another copy of the game for PTS. Nor am I interested at all in your PTS. Only way I would be interested if YOU paid ME for testing your patches.

As fas as i remember they are only testing the update changes, such as skills and gear changes not the actual content, the content would be tested ina a later version of PTS. Aso didn't they do this with survival in the first game? besides what happens in PTS won't transfer to the main game so nobody is going to get ahead of you in any form

Wow... just wow. Toxic forum junky is toxic.

Yes I am entitled. I paid my money for something, I'm entitled to it. Had I known Ubisoft would make the content available early for free I wouldn't have bothered paying extra.

The only thing we got from the season pass so far is to not have to grind for a specilisation and two 5 min classified assignments.

In any form? No. What happens on PTS ends up on Youtube long before the players that payed for early access to that content get a chance to experience it first.

You do realize that character progression in the pts does not transfer to the live game. It's strictly for playtesting. You will get early access when it goes on the live game.

So don't watch any Youtube videos showing the content...seems like an easy solution

He has a valid point from a certain point of view. It shouldn't be entitlement to expect a business of any kind to keep their word.

Now @OP, PTS is just another form of Beta testing on content that they hadn't completed yet. In reality, it's not suppose to be for everyone, though anyone can do it. It's suppose to be for those who are willing to go in find the breaks in the game and properly report them so they can be fixed before the final release to everyone. Far too many see it as a chance to get a sneak peek to see the new stuff. What they will see is the before and if you aren't interested then don't partake, you should still get your access 7 days prior to them releasing it to everyone after it has been fixed.
