Yeah im not a fan of how they did exotics in this game. From having all 3 talents set to having to obtaining most of them by doing quests. They just feel like collectable items at this point.

Once you have one at GS 500 there's no point in farming that specific exotic ever again.

If you've played hundreds of hours without an exotic then you're either not following the step by step guides to getting parts or you're grinding the wrong missions.

He didn't say he never assembled one, he said he never had one *drop*. Neither have I in 300 hours of play and killing all the right mobs in all the right places. It's basically RNG BS. One guy just posted he has finished the raid numerous times, two first timers both got the AR drop while he is still waiting. The loot system in this game is garbage. And yes, I have all the exotics that can be *assembled*, those have never been a issue, I have 4 chatterbox's.
