the time where everyone is low and levels up the standard way is over...ppl level up their 4th char speedy, not by playing public games..

See that's where you're wrong. WE as players don't care, but it can greatly affect the wallet size of the game company. It's all about influence, and some big time streamers have millions of followers, and can have at any given time 100k people watching them.

The problem with widdz, marcostyle etc is they find cheesy ways to play the game and abuse its mechanics. Chkn dance anyone? One of their main complaints at first was they couldn't abuse the movement to skip bullet registration. But since they have found ways to try it now and players are doing it. They get special keyboards and muscle memory for keys to avoid hits. Pvp is straight crap in this game. Never has been or will be any good. Never understood why people cared so much.

The YouTubers left TD too. They then came running back. They are just worried about getting "PAID".

I think a lot of this stems from a different problem.

Widdz and Marcostyle were avid PvP players and produced a lot of build guides. In this game, following a build guide no longer works and PvE is the more engaging focal point.

They did very well in the raid, but their heart is in the PvP type games as are their fans. I would argue for them it is not about following the money. It is about pleasing their fans. Their fans want to watch skilled PvP players who can teach them how to create exceptional builds. Marco and Widdz are having a hard time being the people who can perform that task.

I would argue that the game is not dying as much as it is needing a few changes and that Marco/Widdz may have been more suited for the Division 1's style of play to entertain their fans.

May i point to the raid, that was purely a stream views PR stunt and nothing else. They ONLY care about the streamers.

So you mean that they are quitting because they cannot find a way to cheese?
Shotguns, gunner medkits and perks are cheesy enough and they should have fun right now.
This is not the reason they quit.
They are quitting because this game is broken in every aspect of it at this time.
They are not the only ones that are slowly stop playing it right now

Less talking and more walking. Collectively they have done more harm than goood to this game and as far as I'm concerned the game will be better off without their egos poisoning the well.

Achievements/trophies are only ever awarded once per account. So second characters have zero impact on the percentage in this case.
