I agree, he has been abandoned. The sad part is that all they would need to do to make him useful is to change his charge ability to a warcry. Boom, instantly better!Originally Posted by Kappaboys Go to original post
Mike, do us all a favor and just go play with your Visitors. I was hoping that once you got them, we would no longer have to endure your awfull English and whining. And how can you still call the Visitors rare (they are of the "rare" type, but that's not what you mean)? Everybody with a premium battle pass gets over 200 copies of the rubish card!Originally Posted by Miked13131 Go to original post
I can only assume you're talking to me, since you didn't quote me at all.Originally Posted by durazu Go to original post
- It doesn't matter why there's currently no specifics. There needs to be some. There's only 3 weeks before release; people need to prepare.
If they wanted it to be more of a surprise, maybe they shouldn't have, oh I don't know, announced it more than a month ago & said nothing since.
- I'm not complaining that I can't build a 1 theme deck. I was making something called a valid point; you might not have heard of this.
Considering there's enough cards to fill up 2 decks in every other theme, 10 cards is beyond underwhelming; especially with the time they've had to make them, and the fact that there was at least 17-18 in every other theme when they launched.
10 cards at launch is lazy and/or money hungry. The 2 things best used to describe most of this game.
Shaman Token's purify being a warcry might be too good if it was board-wide, even without curing mind control. I might carry him just to counter the damage reduction of Dragonslayer Red, and now that power bind is a common counter to Santa/SOMM it would be good against that too. I'd instead simply favor him getting a bit more health and damage.Originally Posted by TheRheemWarrior Go to original post
Honestly, it irks me that RL is unwilling to make small tweaks to units' damage and health in order to balance and instead seems to only want to make drastic changes. The Pocahantas change was too far and this Space Warrior Token change is out of control, as a 2 cost he is going to be hugely OP for those who have him appropriately leveled, he has about 10% less health than Heidi at equivalent levels, a bit more attack, and a charged ability which can take most of a bar if unanswered. Of course, then again Enforcer Jimmy has basically the same stats and a great aura, so balance shmalance. Obviously, they are partly making these changes to encourage people to level different cards, but Space Warrior as a 2 cost is a joke, as Sci-Fi will now definitively have the best two 2-cost fighters in the game. Prepare for the Sci-Fi/Fantasy Zerg strat!
A lot of the fun of the game is supposed to be coming up with clever strategies to take advantage of card synergies. Instead, it's about jumping on the OP cards and whaling up the legendaries to level 4 to obliterate your opponents with pure power. I obviously love playing and I'm not going to sit here and disingenuously threaten to quit or anything, no matter how often DSR tilts me, but I really think the game is about 60%-70% of what it could be because of RL's refusal to let more cards be viable to play.
Yeah, its a weird strategy. Almost zero fine tuning and all ham-fisted overcompensations: "oh, no one is playing dougies cos they suck? lets make them take a phone or two whenever they are played, almost like a direct damage spell to NK".Originally Posted by AndrewWang42 Go to original post
I feel you it’s exactly how they are going to do it though.Originally Posted by ExistentialSprk Go to original post
