Should I return after 2 months?

I played up to WT5 and had some fun, I grinded for a couple Chatterboxes and for three Desert Eagles, got most of the Hunter Masks. But I really hated how WT5 drop rates seemed worse than WT4 and lower tiers. I felt like there was no purpose to my playing.

The Raid: I planned on coming back when this dropped but then they cancelled matchmaking so I never did come back at that time.

I haven't played this game for around two months, maybe more. So here's my question: Have the drop rates/gear sets/raid matchmaking improved at all during the last two months?

I'm really waiting for Borderlands 3 but it'd be nice to fill in my time till then with another game.

    Thanks.

If you hated it that much back then.... Chances are you'll still be in the same boat.

Have there been any improvements to speak of the last two months? I did enjoy the story/side missions leveling up to WT5 though.

    Worse than when you left.

    Find something else to play..

Or deal with it like I do, since I can only afford 2 games a year.

Yeah yeah, I have a wife dudes/dudettes....she controls the bank book. So I buy what I can and play the hell out of it...

So I can't really complain to much about games. Just suck it up and play until I get bored and move on....

Which for this game will be when GR:Breakthrough comes out...

The games still all over the place. I play it but drops are still mostly under your gear score, and difficulty level changes a lot from patch to patch. Crashed twice yesterday on PC and before the patch crashing to desktop was very rare. Unless you don't mind the frustrating bugs, I'd wait a little longer for them to fix stuff rather then mostly nerf stuff.

Ok thanks, I think I'll take your advice and wait a little longer before jumping back in.

Sounds like you’re a pve guy / gal so I’d say yeah. A ton more pve content is heading your way in this game.

no, this game is getting worse. My biggest complaint is the loot. You stack yellows to get on the ropes to get damage, stack blue to get unstoppable force or unbreakable to get damage, stack red to get berserk for....you guessed it... damage. There is absolutely no build diversity, no skill builds and everyone feels the same. You can literally spec out a pvp build, go up against a pve build and it's still a coin flip. It's basically whoever locks on first. I mean the only difference between a pvp build and pve build is one stat (dte), so boring. Also things that used to be mods are now talents. Everyone is looking for the same guns with the same talents, it's boring. People have left in massive numbers and i'm afraid they will not come back until the game is fundamentally changed. I mean Division 1 was insanely popular and fun, why did they change anything ?? If it isn't broke, don't fix it !! My advice to the devs, take a break from new content, make the game more like division 1 and people will come back.

Warfame and/or Path of Exile. Both free to play in Steam, and both much better looters...
