why... why did you not learn redstorm/massive
This Shotgun meta is toxic.
I think the double barrel was always strong but it just was not as tanky. Now you can get 400k armor and one/two tap people its disgusting.
what else got buffed in this patched that now I see more and more double barrels?
I hate this cheese

My first guess is a combination of Gunner Spec tanky passives, along with the liberation of passive weapon damage from Spec trees...Originally Posted by DankMemesBlazer Go to original post
But I'll be honest, this is the first mention of a shotgun meta I've seen. What seems to be going on?
Shotguns got a PVP modifier buff, double barrel shotgun and the shotgun talent that gives you 5% damage per shell reloaded but 50% for a full reload, so with double barred shotguns you get 50% easily, and since the double barred is the second strongest shotgun that depending on the build go around to 200k damage, you can get it to around 300k damage with the buff, that lets people kill you if they hit a headshot from what i heard. which is kinda funny as shotguns are still considered trash in PVE. But also heard mixed responses from people that this only happens if you let someone with a shotgun user get to close to you so some people consider it a fair play since people have to use the double barred shotgun that has obviously only 2 shots so it appears to be a high risk high reward, again not a PVP guy so i can't say how cheap it is.Originally Posted by Ubi-RealDude Go to original post
It's because with tu4 shotguns got a 65% damage increase (which I believe is multiplicitive tho not 100% on that) in pvp.Originally Posted by Ubi-RealDude Go to original post
Two shots from a double barrel, which is pretty rapid, gives the same damage as around 30-40 bullets from most other guns with a similar build, plus add on the 50% from premeditated (as mentioned above) and it's pretty cheesy.
This can’t be the first time you’ve heard this right?Originally Posted by Ubi-RealDude Go to original post
