If you have 165/165 then everything should open! Why would they have extras that cannot open? Before TU4 we had ALL the specialties open NOTHING locked. Its stupid to lock specialties. Now like I said before It WONT let me use ALL my points. I only have 160 but cant use them all.

It's because they ADDED the additional weapons to every Specialist tree so you could choose which weapons you want to buff....but you can't buff them all. They weren't all unlocked before TU4 because the option didn't exist until TU4.

It has been explained to you...…….

    Countless times.

Choose 3 weapons and spec into them.

    It's simple.

Cannot spec into ALL weapons at once.

No, before TU4 you couldn't have spend all those points buffing all weapon types because it wasn't even possible.

Before TU4, the survivalist spec could only get skills to buff assault rifle and shotgun. That is it. You could not buff AR and MMR, or AR and SMG, etc. This made that specialization not fit well for people like me that run AR/MMR build. On the other hand, the sharpshooter specialization would buff MMR and rifle.

So what they did, which was a good move and benefits everyone, is make it so you can pick what weapons to buff in your specialization.... up to 3.

Keep in mind, you couldn't even buff 3 before. So you are getting one more than you had before TU4, and you gt to pick what those 3 are.

Its good, good, and more good all around. There is literally nothing bad about this change, except perhaps some misunderstand it and think you should be able nto buff all 5 weapon classes. But that wouldn't be a "specialization" would it? That is what a specialization is -- you exert effort into specific skills in order to become more powerful than the average joe in those areas.
