Mods inventory total not displaying properly.

I recently moved all my gear mods from my character inventory to my stash. After clearing it out my character mod inventory still said 5/100 while it is actually empty. I ran a few tests to see if this was pertaining to mods equipped on my gear. After concluding it was in fact a phantom 5 mods in my inventory I ran a different test. This time I moved all the mods from my stash into my character inventory. I then moved all the mods back into the stash. This time my character mod inventory says 19/100 but in reality it is actually empty. This could potentially be a devastating bug as you could quickly run out of mod inventory on your character just by moving mods back and forth from the stash. Is anyone else experiencing this.

To be clear I am currently on the xbox one version of the division 2

Hello DewRadley, welcome to the forums!

Sorry to hear that. Have you tried removing mods from your character and apply them again? Just asking, as I've seen that fixed the issue for some players.

    Mod Count Error

I am having the same problem with mod count not correct. There is also an exclamation point in the mod icon as though there are mods I havent looked at. This is incorrect as I have scrolled thru all of them.

Ah, I see. I'll pass it along to the development team for further review. Once we have an update, we are going to let everyone know.

    Theory

I have the same problem. I can’t locate my generic mods anymore. I can sell them, but can’t see them. When I first logged in I was at 106/100 or similar mods. The ones removed from my gear. I’m pretty sure the generic mods are what is causing this. If I could see them I’d move them to another character. I could be wrong, but just a theory.

Having a similar issue as well. I don't have as many mods as you do, but the count for them is definitely off. It seems to be counting the Generic mods, but they don't show up in the inventory. You can find them if you go to individual gear piece and try the clots they might fit in. I think you can mark them for sale or deconstruct in that menu, but don't quote me yet. I have to try it and see. The Generic mods can not be taken from your character inventory and put into the stash. That I know is a fact. I want to move some of the Generics I have collected on one character to another at a lower lever, but can't. Not sure if the Generics even appear in the stash. Plus, the Generics that don't show screw up the tally in the mod slots.
So, the change to the Generic Mods that was implemented produced another bug. Any hope to get this fixed?

Same here. The issue happens with every kind of generic mods. Can sell and equip, it's counted for in the space available but can't see in inventory.

To get rid of them , go to the vendor and sell them to clear them off your character.(You will be able to see them when you go to the Sell tab )
