I don't know if a thread about this already exists and I'm not going to go sifting through 720 pages to look for one just so I can add my 2 cents. With that out of the way, the AFK penalty is a problem. I (about 16 mins ago) just had my mouse die. I found a spot to hide, went towards the drawer in the house that contains batteries, searched for some for about 30 seconds, found some and came back, but as I came back I saw the matchmaking penalty notification. It penalized me for being AFK and going to get batteries so I could resume playing. The process of all of this took 2 minutes at the ABSOLUTE maximum (this is being very generous because I think and feel like I was only gone for a minute), and I get a 15 minute matchmaking penalty over it. Ubisoft continues to lose respect over dumb stuff like this and will continue to lose mine if things like this persist.
Bs. There are other ways of dealing with afk farmers, but you decided to implement the worst.Originally Posted by UbiInsulin Go to original post

If you think your battery is going to die, back out of the match in the first 30 seconds, you won't receive a MM penalty. That said,it's not fair to your team to have you AFK for more than a minute because your mouse died.A bot can do better. One minute is more than enough to turn the game by capturing points.
