Same issue and I'm about done with this game because of things like this.

After 6 hours i figred out you have to do this on normal. all of the suggested methods above will work as long as its on normal.

I did try every of the suggestions and always had the same result. He does die before all amor is gone. I think its because off the lv increases at 40. How to do it - full skill tier build and firefly( blinders) + sticky bomb( explosion variant). After 15+ shots it all breaks on hard( that's what difficulty I done it on).

The scaling of his amor is ridiculous high. About 60-70 million damage was needed. That amount can't be reached with any signature weapon even if you run all the way to the start of roosevelt and collect ammo you left all over the place.

All roads did not work with me stupid movement, this is more than 30 times, and I did not succeed all the ways are blocked :غاضب::غاضب:

Hi, everyone.

Not sure if there are fixes already. But I did it on a hard difficultly after many tries.

I tried the GL but since I'm on hard, I added mortar. Then I focused using rifle to avoid spamming the bullet and damage. But there are little accidents and I noticed the health of the enemy is low. So I switched to pistol. Good thing all that remains are the both shoulders and the head armor.

It all depends on the gear stats and talents. My previous attempts was on normal difficulty with a GL and assault rifle but he keeps on dying.

I have killed him many times after destroying his armour with a Corrosive Chem Launcher, I even got the UNDRESSED TO KILL achievement... but it didn't get acknowledged as the Field Research task completion. So I'm going to give up on it.

Ok, on a positive note. I was able to take him out using the Chem Launcher method. A note for those trying this... and it may seem obvious in hindsight... but don't fast travel back to the White House mid-mission... and don't change your Specialisation partway through. I found that if I did either of those, it didn't work.

Done the grenadelauncher thing. Completed it on the first attempt using that. On Normal, 5-6 nades and completed it. \o/

I've been trying to do this for over a year. Finally did it with the Grenade Launcher (aim for the head-upper body) on normal. But I had to use the "Tip of the Spear" armor set so I could get Special Ammo back (full set gives 2 ammo at a time). Took over 20 hits to take him down but it worked. It bugged the first time, no armor points showing with Pulsar Skill. So I had to let him kill me to reset. This time I cleared all other enemies and shot him in the head with the hand gun once. Armed with the Pulsar and Shield I then checked him for armor and it was there. This is so bugged. Every other way I tried it still showed the pouch on his right arm even though it played all the animations to indicate armor was broken off and scan didn't show any left. I tried shooting the pouch anyway and he would just die.
