    Fastest Playtime to date...

I just want to say I Love this Game but it is REALLY becoming a Love/Hate Relationship...

I love the Graphics and the Gameplay but today was my shortest playtime to date, which was about 12 minutes... (Just FYI I have 799 hours played...)

So first thing when I log in, I knew it was going to be a Bad Day because the Lightning and Thunder sounds almost blew out my Ear Drums & My Headphones!

I had taken a few days off and I log in and see there are New Missions (I have all BP's, so no real reason to do Missions anymore) but I see there are still 2 reward items and I have Full resources. I have my 500GS Build equipped (made certain before running up to the BoO Project Manager because I remembered I was playing with different builds before I took the weekend off since my Merciless was nerfed... oh, sorry, I meant "Fixed"... and donate the 3 sets of junk and get a 499GS Classic M44 Carbine and a pair of 496GS Alps Climbing Gloves...

I don't have a Marksman Build and have Never even used a Marksman Rifle (Except for my Nemesis Exotic Rifle to try it out on the Range and then Never again!) and I have Better 500GS Alps Gloves On Me with Higher Base Armor, Higher CHC% (the ones I just got from quest were only 4.0% CHC) and Capacitive!

WHY?!?! I don't need the Money from Vendoring Them (I have 3.3Million E-Credits) and I don't need the pieces from Deconstructing them (I have Max Crafting Mat's for each Brand). You are Giving me NO Incentive/Reward to even Play! I had Hoped after the Free Play weekend maybe the drops/rewards would be better but I guess that is what I Deserve for Hoping!!

I Don't know why I even logged in... I should just do like others are saying and take a Long Break (like a year or better) and maybe it will be Better then... maybe...

GREAT JOB UBI/Whoever for Killing my Hopes for a Better Game! See you all in a Year or More! If I even Remember this game then or I'm still alive...

GL and I Hope they Fix this Game and Make it Better!

I mean, if it took you 800 hours to get this way, this game is obviously not terrible. I'm a grinder too, and at hour 520 i'm just grinding attributes at this point. Try and help others perhaps.....I know it's not exactly the noble cause in a video game, but it's something. Maybe join a clan. Team-SF.com is recruiting good people.

It doesnt matter what new things she get. after 10 min its boring.
    And she cries again.

What should a parent do to make her stop crying.

Yeah, I'd say you've gotten your money's worth. If you've experienced everything the game has to offer, earned every reward, maybe taking a break is for the best.

Lol.. a bash the devs post with 800hours?!?!?!

You've gotta be kidding me. You should be praising the devs and arguing with everyone that this is the GAME of the YEAR.

I suck at math.. but I think that's like 6 hours a day for the ~4 months the games been out.

I have 400 hours in the game and my main was already at the edge of getting no upgrades 100 hours before that. So instead of farming loot, i just completed the rest of the content, meaning collecting all the collectibles and getting all the commendations. Even so both were more of a chore, the fact that you would get a trinket for reaching commendation level 10 got me interested enough to play the game further. Well, i eventually reached it and according to the tracker, i am at the top 0,2% in regard to commendations. But i guess not many are interested in this anyway.

Well, despite that, there was still another thing i did, which was running the raid for the eagle bearer, but since i could only get boss loot one time in a week, i leveld up my "gear-mod-farm-twink" up to world tier 5 to have another shot at the loot every week. It was actually quite nice to play to endgame again and once again i experienced the big flaw in this game compared to other titles of this genre and why the way to endgame is so much more fun.

The way from lvl 0 to lvl 30 is a progression system we know and love since the beginning of roleplay games. Even so our character doesnt get any stronger via some sort of attribute system, it still is the reason of how and why we can equip stronger and better items. We are also able to unlock various skills and perks throughout the way. All of this ends in the endgame, our level means nothing anymore and our strength progression is bound to items only, which are even inconsistent in regard to the actual powerlevel of the item. We are limited in regard to unlocking skills and perks, if you have all, it just ends. There is no need to think about where to put points to unlock the skills and perks, you just get everything eventually. The progression basically stops.

Other loot based games, for example Borderlands or various ARPGs, count on their long time progression system of constantly leveling up and getting stronger through that. It doesnt matter, that you beat the maingame in maybe 40 hours, because you are still not at the maximum level, which is one of the biggest incentives to still play the game over and over again until you reach it and look for another goal. Maybe finding that sweet legendary item, killing that secret boss or even just try out another character and get the whole process going again. It didnt matter to people, that you needed months through maybe a year to get your Diablo 2 character to level 99, there was still constant progress to experience.

Division 2 lacks this progress and i doubt, that it will ever get to the point of having actual constant progress. A change of the loot system wont make a difference, we are still limited and upgrades will eventually be still a rarity, doesnt matter what system you use here. The other games have this problem too eventually, but they offer you a damn long journey to get to that point. What we have in Division 2, is a constant repitition of a short progression followed by a pretty long period of stagnation.

Another difference to the other games is the fact, that Division 2 is not finished per se, but rather on the way to get to a finishing point, whereas the likes of Borderlands are actually finished at release and further content is an extension for players who have maxed out their characters. We always see how new dlc increase the max. level you can get, offer new types of skills, offer a new class/character and whatnot. All what Division 2 can offer is a gear score increase and a new specialisation, which doesnt even significantly differ from the ones we already have. We dont really get to experience an actual progression for our character, we dont see him getting stronger, we just farm the same weapons as before with a higher base strenght and can kill the enemy a little bit faster, except they pump up the ai again, which eventually ends in the same experience as we have now.

We certainly cant and shouldnt expect much in regard to this topic, the only thing we can hope for, is just more content to experience. More missions, more strongholds, more raids, more exotics, more gear sets. But actual progression of our character? No, i dont think so.

You've played the game for 800 hours and now you feel like you've done everything there is to do and you're bored? I'm not seeing the issue tbh. I mean, 800 hours doing anything where you're not naked is going to get boring. Play something else for a while dude. You can't reasonably expect a game to entertain you indefinitely.
