Will you guys do a proper job and can add sli ?

    My specs are:

    I9 9900k
    16gb ddr4
    2x gtx 770

Since your game doesn't support sli ubisoft i can't play damn division 2 at 60 fps. usually getting around 30-40 fps and the game is ****ng freezing for 2 seconds while i'm moving. We all know that you guys are useless for patching up things like this, but at least do a damn thing and add sli support therefore i can play the game just like the other sli users and my money won't go away huh ? Or can i just get a refund ?

Not to rain on your parade but users with multi GPU systems are a fraction of a fraction on PC and adding SLI/Crossfire support is a pain as it can be easily broken with a driver update, You have a good CPU so the best you could do is upgrade to 1 high end GPU and this is from a long time SLI user.

I'm very disappointed SLI support wasn't carried over from the first one. Div 1 has very nice SLI scaling and worked absolutely fine for 3yrs from the start and still does, 4000 hrs in SLI without issues.

I'm running 2x 2080 Ti's and while one can just about maintain 60fps at 4K with 2 settings turned down a notch, it's disappointing Massive dropped support in the sequel or I could be running at roughly 100+ fps at 4K fully maxed out.

Just hope we maybe get variable shader support, at least that may give us a little performance boost.

And the snowdrop engine handles SLI beautifully so that's not an excuse. If games like rise of the tomb raider can do DX12, SLI and even ray tracing running all together there should be no excuses.

    Re: SLI

Will you not make useless posts?

I am going to be as blunt as possible. I have been building PC's for 18, going on 19 years. I havent been asked to do an SLI or Crossfire build in at least 8 years. It is becoming more and more rare due to how much technology has progressed. Even an AMD 2400G (APU) can play Division 2 on INTEGRATED Graphics at 40-55 FPS

AMD plans to not make anymore 1080p gaming video cards by the looks of it. They want to rely on APU's for that

The money you spent on doing 2 video cards is a complete waste. It isn't even a bragging right, it is just saying "I failed in spending my money wisely". The money you spent on that 2nd video card could of been put in to savings if you really had that much extra to throw around. Who knows what expenses may pop up in the future

TLDR.. Never ask a Game Developer to make SLI or Crossfire Support. It is a waste of their time, and your money. That is why most games don't even bother supporting it now

Can we now move on and talk about something more productive for the game? My Post about the Gunner being an example.. a Post that gets drowned out by useless posts like this

Adding SLI support takes away time from the devs that they just don't have, A fraction of a fraction of PC users have multi GPU systems, It's not worth the dev time.

AMD has been working closely with developers on Explicit Multi-Adapter (EMA) technology, alongside DX12 and Vulkan, which bypasses the driver-based SLI and CrossFire technology.

    Read more: https://www.tweaktown.com/news/56524...ema/index.html

It would be way way better if they implemented this AMD or DX12 (EMA) OR Explicit Multi Adapter, Technology/software Driver bypass for enabling Multi-GPU setups. to where we can/could actually get 2x, 3x or even 6x performance with 2x or 3x 4x or even 6x GPUs with EMA & DX12..

Hurts my soul to see a 9900k paired with a $40 GPU lmao. It's like having a race car with bicycle wheels on it.

Like everyone else said, SLi is a waste of time and an artifact of a bygone era. Shell out ~$200-$350 and you can have a GPU that will play 1080p games at 60+ FPS for a few years. Or do the 9900k justice and get a 2070/80.

Until OS or GPU manufacturers can make it so SLI/Crossfire cards work like single card for game devs, multi-gpu setups wont be coming back, not for gaming at least. In production servers, multi gpu setups are alive and well.
