Please don't make Far Cry EGS exclusive

I'm being led to believe that Ubisoft has pretty much gone down the path of other companies that are being drawn to Epic Game Store exclusivity crap. The Division 2, Watch Dogs Legion, and Ghost Recon Breakpoint are now Epic titles and I fear that Far Cry is gonna wind up on the same route.

Please Ubisoft, don't let Steam users be alienated and prevented from enjoying their favorite Ubisoft franchise on their preferred platform. Even if its not in the plans, I feel like I must get this out before the next installment is revealed. So many fans are users of Steam and Far Cry is your flagship franchise next to Assassin's Creed. It would be very inconvenient if we had to shift to another store that has far less features. Even if from a business standpoint it may be profitable, it would create great strife and distrust between fans who use Steam and the company (Metro Exodus, Outer Wilds, Shenmue 3, etc), and there are MANY Far Cry players on Steam. Please pass this forward and let the company know. Again, I don't know if its planned and it may not be, but I don't want to wait and find out only to know its too late to say anything. I've been a fan and enjoyed Far Cry on Steam for many years, and I don't want to have to submit to Epic and their shady business practices just play my favorite franchise.

ok from my personal opinion.. I have to say it I cannot stand steam.. I'm stuck with it on my machine for only the Wolfinstien games.. it's buggy (always has been)
Epic I have not used and hop to never also..
I have been very happy that farcry and other ubi titles are on Uplay and I really hope they keep the uplay section going.. it has the least bugs of all the others.

Uplay is fine I guess, I never used it myself since I always used Steam and it just felt like extra unnecessary software that came with your Ubisoft titles. In terms of bugs, I've never really encounter any that were notable.

Considering that Ubisoft has Uplay, I doubt it would be Epic exclusive....but I don't think it would be unusual to see it listed there for purchase. I think Ubi, unlike EA has decided that the more places you can buy their stuff the better for sales, which kinda makes sense.

So my personal opinion, is Yes, it will be on Epic, but NO it will not be exclusive.

I have Steam because for many years you could almost not avoid steam if you wanted to play many of the AAA titles. Now Steam seems to be flooded with cheap indy games and the major game makers seem to be drifting away from it with their own version of online management. I really dont care much about it. Funny it seems all the major game makers are now implementing their own version of steam and stop using it. I dont care much one way or the other but I have to say that I think I like Ubi better than steam.
