I've noticed a trend of several players who have been idling throughout terrorist hunt in order to gain easy renown. Unfortunately this issue has not been addressed, since I've seen this as a problem for well over a year, with Ubisoft failing to act on this.

Currently as it stands, there have been players that are writing their own macro scripts to slightly move the mouse or shoot randomly and they idle in spawn point while the team does the rest of the work, ergo they receive the full renown at the end. Now honestly it does not affect me at all since they are not griefing, but my issue lies with three fundamental problems. Firstly, they are taking up a vital spot for gameplay. It really sucks when all your team members die or are downed, and then you have to wait on this bot to quit because it's generally programmed to stay in the game for ~3-5 minutes before it disconnects. Secondly, these players sit at spawn during Terrorist Hunt Classic which attracts terrorists to track them down and down them, which makes the team have to run back out to spawn to find the remaining terrorists. This isn't a big deal, but it's a huge pain especially on larger maps (think Tower, Villa, Fortress, Theme Park, etc). Thirdly and most importantly, these players are unfairly receiving renown for the work of others. I know it's a grind to get the cosmetics, operators, and bundles you want, but when a player simply uses a macro they are getting these points rewarded to them while others must buy or play to receive the items.

It's becoming so bad there are notorious players that are instantly recognized as being these 'AFK' programmers. Infact, below is a video of one them, who literally upon the game starting is already being vote kicked (for the record I did not start either vote kick, a random player on my team did). I've personally seen this guy so many times, I can't even imagine how much renown is in his account.

I hope that Ubisoft will eventually have a solution of preventing these people from sitting out on terrorist hunt as it's ultimately them in the long run, as people are circumventing getting renown legitimately and two, are macroing through gameplay which is incredibly disruptive.
