Send when ready and I'll hook up. Dammit if I'm not long due to hook up with Nrod.
I out rank everyone here with hours played and can give you the best and the most true advice on helping you get "Good"
Before playing support roles which is the hardest difficulty because you will be the last one alive and you can't be the first one dead
Do play selfish operators with abilities that doesn't really help everyone on the team .
Rush Obj and roam hard don't hold angles too long just quick peek.
So you'll learn the maps fast and where people will be
Hate to break it to you but that sounded pretty self entitled ,the advices are more like personal preferences and on that note im amazed you didnt tell him to team kill on sight anyone doing something he doesnt like.Originally Posted by feffreyfeffrey Go to original post

I have about 1000 hours in game and im currently in stage of (sometimes i kill somebody)
If you are loosing gun fights get black beatd. His gun shield will help you to survive second or two more which can help you to find some moves or what you are doing wrong. Solo terrorist hunt will help you practice aim - you will shoot at 40 instead 5 ppl, but note that bots have less HP than players so try to HS practice HS
If you get killed from sides, backs, above and so - you need to improve your situational awareness. Which is kinda hrad - i did struggle with it from start since Siege is so diffrent in every match. But you can bypass it a little bit by - droning. Its not popular on casual and for some reasson on low ranks, but it will help you. Dont forgott to not look just for enemies but also for positions what they created - murder holes in walls and floors, traps, wire and so.
For win you need to choose operator to suit your team, but for learning i would suggest you to stick win one operator and one gun.

OT--Just keep at it. No offense, but 100 hours is next to nothing in this game, especially if you don't have a lot of experience in other shooters.
One thing I struggle with on and off even after 1,500+ hours is overthinking things. Specifically I would play an operator like Buck, and I would have a really exact idea of where I wanted to go and what I wanted to open, but I would get way too focused on that and end up getting tunnel vision. I didn't adapt to how the enemy was playing, I didn't pay attention to how my team was playing, I just did my thing and either died or let my team die.
So to counter that, I tell myself to play like I'm a Recruit. Like I have no gadget I have to go use to maximum effectiveness. Basically to play the game like it's any other shooter. (PUBG was the one I was playing most at the time. If you play that, picture how you clear buildings in that game.)
So I focused more on basic concepts like droning, positioning, and playing off teammates. You can get some easy kills watching flanks man. If you're attacking a top floor site, just set yourself up watching a path between the staircases on the floor below. Until you get to high gold nobody expects you to be there.
