    Suggestion: GENERIC MODS

I know generic mods will be recieving a nerf soon where blue cant attach to yellow gear but I think this idea goes about the problem all wrong. Generic mods are a great tool for builds and honestly the only problem I see with them is the fact they only drop at low levels. Now I dont use any generic mods... Never had the ambition to grind a new character for them. BUT I would love to see them added as end game content. Where the generic mods only focus on one talent and go from blue to yellow where yellow still focuses on one area but has a higher percent roll.

    Example:
A Blue Damage mod has an RNG between 0.5 and 1.5%

A Purple Damage mod has an RNG between 2 and 4%

A Yellow Damage mod has an RNG between 5 and 7%

So rather than nerf is connectivity simply add tiers to correlate with the gear quality.

The change to the mods was because of players stacking damage in "unhealthy ways" meaning getting access to talents they shouldn't be because generic mods shouldn't count towards the corresponding slot, but they do. If they increase the damage on them then that's the only thing everyone will wear all the time because there is no reason for anything else.

High end generic mods do drop. Get your facts straight before posting useless threads.

I honestly have never seen a high end generic. Do you have a picture of one?

In theory(Ive never seen one)High end generic mods are outdone by blues because they roll the percent across 3 stats instead of one(purples roll across 2-confirmed). My point is to have a class of gear mod that is focused in only one area for max effect... That should be the purpose on generic mods.

And if youve played pvp lately the current state of builds is garbage. If you dont run certain talents and rolls you cant be competative and offering more attainable options for players wont make things any worse than they are.

All generic mods should only roll one stat
