    Running into Gunfire

First, let me say the game is well mapped. Love the artistic detail and accuracy. It is just like being in DC.

But something that seemed to be carried over from the first game is enemy AI running into gunfire and taking little or no damage. I have been on a team of four shooting at one enemy who sprints through the gunfire and takes cover behind us. Playing solo I see this, they sometimes run out of the mission area and I can't proceed until I hunt them down. A few times it has caused the mission to cancel and I have to start over. Anyone else have this happen?

Yes, it is actually very re-creatable under the right circumstances, which is...

Group with a lower level player and run their missions with them in decent T5 gear. There is now a really good chance that one or more of the mobs will just flat out hide, or never even come out of their spawn point. I have even seen it on control points, where the final boss just said screw it and while spawned, would not come up from the sewer grate he spawned under. We had to use flame grenades to kill him, as they actually work through walls and other geometry.

My working theory on this, is the exact same reason they just rush you sometimes, they think they can kick your azz, so they get in your face to do it. However, now it is backwards, the mob "sees" your gear and gets so scared, he won't get anywhere near you, which sometimes translates to stays in hiding behind his spawn point. Had this happen in the bank mission many times, I grouped with a newb I created on another account, to farm the hard wired piece I needed, and 4 out of 5 times, I could not complete the mission, because one of the second floor snipers would not show his face. I could even stand in the wide open and go afk, he still wouldn't come out from behind cover so I could kill him and complete the mission.

I've noticed that too. Was raising the alert level for a control point and went over to an enemy territory (the one where you get a key and open a box at the end) and killed three dudes almost instantly, and the fourth guy dipped around the corner. It was funny as hell.

This could actually be one of the reasons they don't let really decent loot drop much, it screws up their Ai and mobs run from you, instead of at you or even bothering trying to fight you at all. Its a pretty buggy ai in that regards.
