Idea for a NEW VIKING VANGUARD - Houndmaster

Hello internet, it's Argas again, and today, I want to introduce you another Vanguard, this time for Vikings. You can also check my Knight Vanguard idea I've posted days ago. For those wo say "There are enough heroes in the game and more are in development" look at E3 records. For honor new heroes announcement? Nothing. That's why im here

Now, to our beloved Vikings, I have something to think of. The Houndmaster. Viking bearing a cudgel, accompanied by his trusty, trained wolf to aid him on the battlefield. They pierce through everything as long as they cooperate correctly. It's better together

    Lore:

Vikings were always obedient to voices of ancestors. After several defeats to Apollyon's rage, they called upon their long forgotten allies. Somewhere behind the northen mountains, there are dire wilds. Only the bravests of brave dare to step foot in there. Well, they lived there for decades. Wildlife in there is bloodthirsty, but to their will, even they will bend. They are masters of north. The artists of wildlands. Their minds may be feeble, but they gained instincts of predators. Unstoppable clan... It's time to start fighting with wolves against wolves...

    Basic Visuals:

Horned, round helmets that covers the top of their heads, showing the rest of scarred face. Black hair, shorter beard. Complete leather armor. Bare hands. Their weapon is club, or cudgel, if you like. High leather boots, chain skirt. Literally basic look. His wolf is mostly common grey/white, not big, not small.

    Moves:

*Wild rage: (Light +) Heavy + Heavy +.... (*Infinite side heavy chain. Top attack or light attack finish the chain. Any attack can be fainted.)

Ankle Bite: MMB while in heavy chain (Canine companion jumps forward, swiftly biting an enemy to the ankle in the side of last side heavy attack (confusion of enemies ready to parry heavy attack from chain in the opposite direction), inflicting bleed.)

Attack the weak spot: Light + MMB (Wolf charges on the enemy, inflicting a small-damage bite.)

Recycle: S+MMB (Houndmaster dashes backwards, landing on all four. After the dash, Houndmaster sweeps both of his legs, knocking an enemy to the ground. This attack counts as heavy attack chain ender. Light attack or Ankle bite are guaranteed. This attack can be dodged. If so, Houndmaster can be punished with GB.)

Never alone: Parry + light (Houndmaster whistles after parrying an opponent, releasing the wolf on them. Wolf bites, which deals small damage and counts as light combo starter.)

Go for the throat: Hold MMB while in chain (Houndmaster takes a small delay, releasing wolf later than on Ankle bite. Wolf ferociously bite enemy to the neck, instantly consuming all slowly-ticking stacks of bleed, healing Houndmaster for half of that, and deals small bonus damage to the enemy. The more times wolf bit the enemy per his life, the bigger the bonus damage. If Houndmaster is hit, this attack isn't interrupted. This attack can be fainted to a swift GB. This attack is unblockable/unparryable, like shaman's charge. Attack can be easily dodged, and Houndmaster punished with GB,)

Hunting party: W,A,D + Space+ Heavy (Houndmaster executes a spinning dodge with slow, unblockable heavy afterwards. This attack can be fainted to provoke parry or followed by nearly instant Ankle bite)

Stalking party: W,A,D + Space + light (Wolf throws himself on the enemy with fast charge attack, while Houndmaster dodges to the opposing side (The attack is actually a dodge attack similar to Kensei's), dealing small damage and starting heavy chain.

Help needed: After counter-guardbreaking, Light (After countering GB, Houndmaster can immediately order wolf and punish enemy with canine's small-damaging bite)

    Specials:

After first heavy attack landed in chain, Houndmaster gains uninterruptable stance.

First heavy in series is 800ms, the following ones are 600ms.

Light attacks are 400ms, as well as all the wolf attacks, except for Stalking party, which is 500ms.

Each bite wolf inflits on enemy stacks untill the enemy dies. Stacks are consumed after succesful Go for the throat attack, with base damage of 20 and maximum damage 60. Each bite inflicted adds 5 damage to this attack.

Bleeding from Ankle bite attack stacks, it ticks slower than other bleeds. After succesful Go for the throat attack, bleeding is cleansed from the enemy, healing Houndmaster for half of the amount already bled.

Worry not, after Houndmaster falls, wolf is harmless. He will stand over his fallen master, licking his face to wake him up. Pointlessly.

    Characteristic feats:

Lick wounds: When out from battle, Houndmaster pets his wolf for 4 seconds. After that, his health is fully restored and all bites on all enemies reset.

Fetch! : Houndmaster marks an enemy for 5 seconds and releases wolf to catch them. If wolf catches them in first second of mark, he lands a guaranteed bite. If wolf catches the enemy from 2 to 5 seconds, he will bite them in the leg, holding them in place, stunned. The longer it took to wolf to catch upon them, the longer stun is.

Predator sense: Passive. An enemy closest to Houndmaster is marked, unless an enemy is visible in line of ordinary sight.

Bloody symbiosis: Healing and damage of next Go for the throat attack landed is doubled.

    Style:

I'll be honest, i do expect a lot of comments style: "This hero is so similar to ..." Well, I think not. As a Vanguard, he is capable of massive enemy confusion and he will excell at 1v1's, but who doesn't nowadays? all of the newer heroes are excellent duelists, and i think this accompanied hero will come with a fresh breeze of something new to the game. Playstyle would be pretty simple. He would be able to spam, to faint, to punish well. Balanced in offense and defense alike, as a right Vanguard should be.

That's all folks. At least for now. I'll gladly see all the opinions. If this hero will have good calls and upvotes, I'll add him to ubi's community creations web. Expect two more Vanguard ideas comming from me soon. Signed, Argas.

    Needs explanations.

I am Mysterieizer, and my job is to judge theories or ideas across the internet. I must say, that I really liked your first idea, although nothing is perfect, but this one needs more time explaining. Of course, the wolf companion would be a great game changer, if it would be an entity itself, able to be hit. I strongly disbeliev that, but if you thought it that way, that would be very unwelcome with community as we know it, because it would make possibly any duel situation insane to win. Next up: Moveset. Sure the Vanguards are circling their comboes with various fakes or infinite chains, But giving a feat 4 focused on just that one strike may not be a good idea. People like to spam fastest light attack they can. Presumably, they wouldn't use this Go for the throat move, unless nessesary of heal, and that would be easily readable. I am not trying to say that this attack shouldn't be there at all. I actually really like the coding system of stacks you invented there, I am just saying that there are definitely better feats to give him/her or that you'd be surely able to come up with better one.
