You should see the machinery we run our armor on. How cheap, old, and how much extra it has costed us. We've spent more money on what the machinery has caused in issues (bad blades, gears, shafts, motors, etc), than a new machine would have costed.

This is just one example of the greed I see. My boss will not turn on the AC because it saves money. (he's the company owner btw)

My boss won't throw dinners. Hell, we don't even have a fridge where we work, not even a mini, because he's CHEAP. And this is the story every company has, that is the same. If not about the same things, about SOME thing and MANY of those SOME things.

why would i need to fly down to wherever it is you are to watch you do some QA on a cable? Whats that going to prove? Plus, thats even creepier than the constant discord invites, youve went from creepy online dude to possible serial killer all in one sentence. All jokes aside man, i hope you find what you are looking for in the Division but if its communication from the dev team past anything youve already seen I can tell you its not going to happen. You dont need to fly anywhere or join any internet chat rooms to believe that, you can simply change forums and scour back on the TD1 forum during its first two years of existence.

It would prove how greedy they are, and what you don't grasp. You have

    absolutely
    no
    idea

    You're clueless, so stop.

You still think they are paying people to playtest for months? God why am i takling to someone as clueless as you. I'll just ignore you and be done with it, you can't even get on discord.

You're a troll, end of discussion.
You said there was "overwhelming evidence" about how little testing was done regarding the loot.

Here is your quote, it's post #74 on page 8.

So, since you have evidence of the behind the scenes workings of Ubisoft/Massive for this game that proves your point. I'd like to see that evidence. Post here, in the forums, for all to see. If you don't have actual evidence, then you should maybe not make unfounded accusations or claim you know something you don't.

Not backing up any ideas here, but that the game had poor or not efficient testing is obvious. There's so many system in the game that are useless. Not because they made useless, but because they didn't expect them to be because they never for example really tested various ways to play the game with different builds and approaches that a player will inevitably do since you put stuff to make them happen. See green sets "we leave some time to experiment with them before talking about any change" is what has been said some time before. That is another big alarm bell on which we should really stop a second and ask yourself if we are guinea pigs along with the game because they don't know what's gonna happen. This and many other examples. Stuff has been changed not only because people complained, but also because of "unexpected" behaviours. I give you an example that doesn't really match but try to follow. Do you really think that in a WOW raid devs don't know exactly how much each build can deploy as DPS or HPS in order to kill bosses and of course in order to study mechanics during boss fights that have since 14 years ago the same difficulty curve? They do, to the millisecond of an error, and still they do PTS just in case. Massive doesn't know, or at least doesn't know every section of their own game because it's just a theory, never proved.

stop what, dismissing your advances? Its funny how you assume what people do and dont know, you have zero clue as to what any of us do yet you keep accusing us of having no clue what the real world is like. Enjoy your loot.

I have not accused anyone that has not directly accused me of not knowing what I was talking about.

I offered plenty of evidence, and even had Kwoung, someone else with QA knowledge actually on the gaming side 100% corroborate my story, yet here you are still trying to accomplish something, which is still unknown.

All I got to say is, cool story bro.

What is ticking me off, is knowing this for a fact and them NOT engaging us even in the slightest.
The fact that it often feels like the public relations side of the company is ignoring the players really does tick me off. And I agree, we the players are the best QA any game could have because we're going to take deep dives into the game and find every single nook and cranny there is and we're going to push the boundries

WE are their best resource, it is unheard of almost, that it goes untapped.
Even if TD2 had a full time staff to sit and play the game they wouldn't be able to employ enough people to actually made a difference. You need the thousands and thousands of players to stress the system, find those weird bugs (like the one with Logitech software, or the one with the Corsair software) and report them so that the devs know where to focus their energy for repairs and maintenance. All that said I do think they have some in-house testing, but a PTS is still a good idea because you can let your users, even it's its only a small fraction of your player base, who like to run around and break stuff find all the stuff to break so you can fix it for the live servers.

But man, do they ever need to do more actual communications with the players.
