Hey guys!
Let me start of by saying the obvious, this game is freaking amazing and probably the best that came from e3 so far, as far as my taste in gaming is concerned.
I'll keep this condensed, here's what I have to suggest so far:
1. Keep the team colors consistent. What I mean by that is there's no reason to swap team colors every game, keep our own color blue and the opponent's color orange (think Overwatch, everyone blue/green is friendly, red is enemy).
It's a bit distracting as it is now, sometimes I find myself attacking my own team.
I think it'll be much better to have it always be blue and orange being the opponents, it'll be much more consistent.
2. Consider 2 different forms of passing the ball. A soft lock target for short ranged passes and a different one for longer passes.
As it is right now, i'm not sure if the ball is going to shoot 50 miles away from the teammate i'm trying to pass the ball to.
Maybe different keys for them? Perhaps Tap/Hold? You know best.
3. Invincibility when dodging. I feel like dodging should have a small time window of being "safe" from getting tackled.
Like 1s or w/e the duration of the dodge animation is.
So many times I was nowhere near an opponent while dodging and they just slam me to the ground.
4. There seems to be a bug with lap progress counting incorrectly, I'll try to find a good example in my stream vods and update the thread with it.
The basic idea is that it seems sometimes the lap starts counting immediately after an opponent steals the ball, completing a lap super fast compared to me doing almost 2 laps with the ball at hand and only score 1 pt.
There's some inconsistency there, I'm certain it's a glitch and not intended.
5. Dedicated servers. Please, this should be #1 in your list, if it's not already. I don't know if the servers are just nodes on VPS/etc but the demo sometimes lags like crazy, I'm currently assuming that's due to debug code running in the background and a mix of cross region play.
I sincerely hope you've learned from For Honor that people enjoy the fairness of a dedicated server versus player hosting/ P2P connections.
Other than that, the game has a metric ton of potential, it's honestly a gem, all you need to do is polish it out and the success will certainly come.

I've been playing for a few hours and have around 1k fans, I completely agree with colors changing every match being a bit confusing. Many times I just attacked my own team or didn't dodge enemy players.
As for the passing, when you're surrounded by enemy players and you need to keep the ball moving it's hard to tell if you can pass the ball to a nearby teammate or if you're just going to toss the ball in the air.
Something else that bothers me is having to turn the camera constantly to see behind me. It would be nice to have a button that allows the player to quickly look behind them.
Overall I got really excited when I saw this game be announced and I'm looking forward to it!
3. You are already invincible while dodging
4. That is no bug. The laps start at a certain checkpoint that's why some players get the ball and go back the lap a bit so they can hit the start. if you get the ball right after the start you have to do what feels like 2 laps.
To 1:
Team colors are good the way they are, worked in LoL for years and this is basically the standart. As long as its not like Mordhau im finw.
To 2:
You can controll long balls by just using lt, also the problem seems o be a moving receiver, standing still you'll catch it most of the time.
But yeah, this need some work.
To 3:
This seems to be mosly lag, during the dodge you indeed ARE invincible, seems like you've been the ballcarrier type, i#ve been tackling a lot, and I dont even have a chance of predicting into a dodge cause tackles are janky af.
To 4:
Had no problems with that (Although we noticed you can go just 3 rounds backwards to get the full lap count)
My first guess would have been a close reset at goalline though.
To 5:
We somehow had this mainly on Mexico (Although that was the only map we got premade, kinda sad to only see 1 map)
To 1 and to Phantal: First of all in LoL its exactly as Ai Baggs says, the colours should be pickable in the gameplay settings similar to overwatch... Pick a colour for teammates and enemies and there we go.
To 2: Short passes can be done with the mechanic and very long ones have to be done manual, its good as it is
To 3: They should actually not have an invincibility window. This is not Dark Souls! You can already spam the dodge and its almost impossible for tacklers to predict the dodge, they should actually make a cooldown on the dodge as the attacking part of the game right now is heavily advantaged over the defending part.
To 4:Just understand the game... There is one way to go around the arena, and checkpoints are marked, if you go the wrong way no wonder you have to go 4 laps instead of 1..
To 5: True It will always be better to have dedicated servers.
