They have MM in every other part of the game, anyone who knows anything about programming. Would know that their programing wouldn't be that much different then the rest. Someone, somewhere just decided that they wanted to push the Clan option or sale players on the TD2 Discord to up those numbers. Randoms are finding ways to group up and getting it done. MM would have just made it easier for them to do.Originally Posted by xcel30 Go to original post

. Whats the worst that can happen lol..
Are you a programmer? I'm not but I know a little bit to do some of the work I do. Programming MM to do 4 people for the entirety of the game means one system with one set of rules. Doing MM for the raid, an 8 player event if you weren't aware, seems like it would need it's own system to interact with the raid UI and systems to me. Remember, the raid also isn't just a single 8 person group but 2 groups of four people.Originally Posted by YodaMan 3D Go to original post
But please, tell us how easy it is to program a game and make sure that one system doesn't affect another and please use examples of how easy it would be to add MM to the normal raid.
Honestly, programming is not easy. It just isn't a big ol' copy and paste, change a number there, and boot this sequence. You're underestimating the difficulty of programming and game development.Originally Posted by YodaMan 3D Go to original post
This is a screenshot of a project of mine built in the Unity Game Engine. Can you tell me what is happening in this screenshot?

Now what I can agree with is that Raid should have matchmaking, discovery mode is a waste of time (players and Massive), and a designer probably arrogantly thought they created a truly difficult raid.
