Hades is a great villain in Assassin's Creed Odyssey

I just recently finished an episode of Torment of Hades in The Fate of Atlantis, and I got to say that Hades is one of my favorites villains in Assassin's Creed series. I know he's not a kind of villain, but he's more ruthless and chills.

His voice fits his character is way more interesting and fun. I don't know who is the actor of hades, although, whoever did a great job on that character. PROPS! He sounds like Xerxes in 300 movie, and it's so terrifying lol! The appearances on Hades is kinda okay, but hey, it's Assassin's Creed Odyssey, so different version is a different version. I think this has become one of my favorite episodes so far, I mean, the underworld with Hades is genuinely interesting!

Spoiler Alert if you haven't play Torment of Hades yet then skip down to boss fight conversation!
    - My favorite part when I played as Kassandra that my mission with Charon in Death-Light Robbery is looking for a robber who stole coins from the dead. I focused on which I have to choose between the politician and the merchant. I chose the merchant then I realized how trash he is for what he has done to poor mortal people. All of a sudden, Hades showed up and looking furious than ever, but a little bit pissed off. Hades punished the merchant down to the headquarter of the hounds of hell. I found that is pretty terrifying tho, but oddly satisfying lol!

Boss fight with him is the pain in the ***, but I fought him like an Achilles! Oops... Sorry, Achilles... Well, I did with my archery tho. I tried to upload my picture here from PS4, but nothing works. My picture is about Hades bowed down in front of me as Kassandra. I don't know why what's wrong with my picture on here, so insert image is actually ridiculous.

My opinion about the Torment of Hades DLC is the best than Field of Elysium! I can't wait to see what's next! #E3UBI

Moved this to our spoilers thread.

    Spoiler:  Show

    Totally agreed, though.

I would've really liked to have seen more of him and Posiedon, but the way his plan worked our was simple but effective.

It's interesting how entrenched this DLC is with the mythology. Like, last year in Origins we fought some mythological figures, but they were more viewed as abnormalities than actual characters, and I don't think they even had any significant lines. The ones in Odyssey are pretty fleshed out, though. Looking forward to see how this DLC wraps things up.

Hades was fantastic, Does he have English or European accent? Sounds like a Bond/Die Hard type bad guy.

I really enjoyed all of the Hades interactions and content, but I don't consider him a villain. He is ruler of that realm and agitated about the death of his gate guardian by our hands, so it's only fitting he seek compensation. I also don't blame him for wanting a powerful tool that is the EB for a gate guardian as well. The politician/merchant quest was one of my favorites too, but I don't think Hades was angry at all. I picked the merchant, and I saved before doing that. There's a choice to let the souls pass or refuse them passage, and either way, Hades is satisfied. He appears entertained by humans showing him another act of cruelty towards each other, and he really enjoys the go ahead to feed another wicked individual to his hounds. Speaking of which, that scene before fighting him was great So yeah, this Hades is among my top picks for favorite video game characters.

Exactly. Who here wouldn't be mad if someone dropped into their yard unexpectedly and killed their dog?

I really enjoyed the interactions with Hades too, and his boss fight was really great too. I love when we have to use some strategies to defeat an enemy, and it was the case with him.

Same here! I'm interested to know as well.

Hades is definitely my most favorite antagonist in Odyssey so far! I think his background story and personalities are well-written AND most importantly, well-acted. On the one hand, the English voice for Hermes ruins that character for me (mainly because he reminds me of Markos), but on the other, I'm glad we have this talented voice actor who makes Hades a great character.

Hades was the most difficult opponent so far. On Nightmare mode, he gave one heck of a fight. He wouldn't go down easily.
