    Shinobi nerf

Get rid of the backflip. That's it, that's all I wanted to say. It's way to safe. Get rid of it.

He needs a total rework. He is too safe and very boring to fight against, he deals too much damage, but half of his kit is so useless that he would be worse than the current pk if we would nerf the bs parts.

Nope, he doesn't need any nerfs. he is balanced. you better try fighting him in training arena to know his moves better and know how to dodge his backflip. you can find out when he's going to do that with a little bit of training.

You have got to be kidding me, the Shinobi is the least threatening hero in the entire game and has the most punishable attacks.

The Shinobi needs a buff or a rework, NOT a nerf.

    1. Shinobi has the lowest health pool in the game which makes him the easiest to kill in just a few hits.

    2. Shinobi has NO side dodge attack like Orochi, Kensei, and other heroes. So he gets countered by them.

    3. Shinobi double dash can be guard-broken even in mist form which makes it very risky to use up-close even though it's necessary to initiate his kick.

    4. Shinobi long-range heavy attack is easily parried which drains most or ALL of the Shinobi's stamina, making it mostly useless in a 1v1 fight.

    5. Shinobi long-range guard-break is easily countered and knocks him to the ground for easy kill, which also makes it mostly useless in a 1v1 fight because it's not worth the risk of falling down.

    6. Shinobi can only attack twice consecutively and then gets opened up for a counter-attack by a light attack from most other heroes.

    7. Shinobi kick is very easy for opponents to dodge and drains a lot of his own stamina.

    8. Shinobi ability to block has such a small window to use that he MUST rely on deflects and back flips just to survive.

The Shinobi is hands-down one of the weakest heroes in the entire game, which is why he is rarely used in matches. If you take away the backflip, then he may as well be removed from the game completely because that is literally his only survival mechanism. You're complaining about a move that doesn't even do damage, there are plenty of other heroes that need to be nerfed, but the Shinobi is one of the few that needs a serious BUFF or a rework.

I question the skill level of people that struggle against a Shinobi, there is a reason why the difficulty rating for using that hero is "Hard." The Shinobi is practically useless against most other heroes because there is so much hyper armor and uninterruptible attacks in the game now, the Shinobi dies easily just from trading blows so they have no choice but to backflip because the Shinobi can't afford to get hit with their low health pool and weak defense.

The fact that few players use the Shinobi is a sign that he is ineffective and needs a buff, not a nerf.

A couple Warrior's Dens back, Stefan talked about Shinobi's backflip being something they're looking at (as it's pretty hard to punish).

Update: I don't think the total removal that the OP is suggesting was something that Stefan mentioned, however.

If the Shinobi gets gets nerfed instead of a buff, I will definitely be quitting this game because that would be a stupid decision for a hero that is already too easy to punish and already has the lowest health pool with no high powered attacks to offset his weaknesses. If the backflip gets nerfed then hyper armored attacks should also get removed.

I'm talking about the backflip where he runs away not the backflip kick. Even if he misses an attack he can backflip out of there.

He is weak and not hard to fight against at all, just boring. Watching people come in for an attack, missing and then just back flipping away not being able to punish it is pretty annoying and it's boring fighting in that way.

Yeah, it is safe, but it doesn't provide him some really good offence and he need backflip nerf only with entire moveset rework.

Being "boring" to fight against is an illogical reason to nerf a Hero. The Warden is also boring to fight against, doesn't mean he should get nerfed because of that. There are plenty of heroes that are more annoying than the Shinobi...such as the Raider and Black Prior.

The back flip is absolutely necessary for the Shinobi to stand a chance against other heroes because he has low health, no dodge attack, no high-powered attack, and a double dash that is vulnerable to guard breaks. Back flipping away from an opponent delivers no damage, so it makes no logical sense to make it punishable just for backing away. Shinobi's melee attacks have a shorter range than most other heroes, so why shouldn't he have a way to create some distance instead of dying like a fly because of his low health and weak defense?
