    best weapon type and talent?

    whats the general consesus on the best weapon type in the game? im guessing its AR, followed by LMG? and what are the best talents for those weapons?

    Depends on where you play.

    Current SOTG its AR or LMG for PVE. But with SS getting nerfed for anything save Rifles in TU4 this wont be the case for long.

    PVP is LMG no question. You can make ARs work but it's a hard to beat a good LMG setup. You get your weapon "buff" (damage out over cover) pretty much 100% of the time in PVP. ARs got a small boost so that helps some...but you dont get the real buff until the entirety of their armor is gone and with skills like bloodsucker/unbreakable you are at a disadvantage since the LMG gets it's bonus armor or not.

    You also dont have to reload with an lmg...and if you run lullaby you just roll for 25 rounds. Shoot some, roll (so the guy misses some while he has to try and track you), get 25 rounds, shoot some more, Ar guy has to reload and you get a couple seconds of taking no damage from him while you are whaling on the dude with your LMG.

    Once TU4 hits LMG across both will be the clear winner since you can't stack HD, stability, and reload speed with SS and an AR/LMG any more.

    If you want to see how drastic the change is just respec your SS tree and keep it at 0. Run an AR and that's where you are minus you'll be able to get +15 WD when TU4 drops. You could just run survivalist as well...just make sure you arent using generics so your damage is equal.

    Also...solo the difference is minimal, but it's there in places if you are paying attention. In groups it factors in A LOT...as the highest potential for damage is in that SS H/S/R stack...and you dont get it anymore save using a R.

    what they are nerfing sharpshooter?

    wow its like they want me to quit at this point

    i got nearly 40k kills on SS and zero on surv and demo... theyre going to force me to switch and start over from 0 kills? i hate my life

    thats stupid now everyone will be surv for ar or demo for lmg... killing diversity even more.

    they are only nerfing a headshot dmg to all wepaons except rifle and marksman rifle the headshot will only take effect if you are sniper or rifle and i like it

    yeah so there's zero incentive to go SS anymore unless you really dig that 0.2s advantage on reload speed , lol.

    i'm the only one left playing in my clan and they managed to make me question if i want to go on
    i'm impressed ; it really does look like they want to ruin everything

    headshot damage is actually a great motivation to improve one's aiming. It is a stupid idea to nerf headshot damage, instead they should buff it on marksman rifles. But hey - that's what they always do: instead of buffing what is lagging behind - they nerf everything else

    Am a M1A CQB user 10 mag 53k dmg and a rifle build and dos not stop me to play the game i am no meta user like 99.9% of the players and i am the only one in the hole game that uses the m1a CQB and after the update tu4 i will continue using the game because it is my favorite gun to use

    so youre the only one who wil "benefit" from this change.

    good on massive/ubi to care for that one player
    the rest can f off apparently

    this will be the last straw for me if/when it happens.
    need to start looking for a new game
