Since release of the new season I put 8 reps each on Raider, Lawdaddy, and Sakura.
Raider is stupidly more powerful than sakura. He ignore literally everything with dodge stunning tap and he gets just as much hyper armour with up to double the damage and double the speed but at any moment could guard break you or stunning tap
In my opinion Sakura is pretty good however she needs some changes:
-No hero in the entire game should get hyper armour more than once in a chain, ie: the infinite heavy chain hyper armour garbage with Sakura or Berserker and basically Raider
-No hero in the game should get hype on lights, especially when they are literally impossible to parry due to recovery from the first light.
-Instead of hyper armour spam they could have given here a real counter crush for left and right but not top
-Her kick feints need to be changed so you can either feint the kick into gaurdbreak in the first 300ms or let the kick fly on release to punish a premature dodge instead of transiting into sweep. She should not be able to hold the kick and throw out a SUPER late guard break. This helps balance wise so she can't give absurd OS pressure and punish as she can't knock you over for a free 45 damage.
Lawbringer is basically perfect (the speed of the sprinting heavy and the distance it pushes you is absolute nonsense)
Raider needs something from the following:
-No stun on the stunning tap
-No stamina drain on the stunning tap
-A way to initiate his sprinting grab from neutral while locked on
-his sprinting grab needs to drain his own stamina and if anything allow the enemy to start to recover their stamina if they are being carried for longer than 1 second
-Needs hyper armour removed entirely
-damage of heavies needs to be dropped by at least 30%
-Stunning tape should be slowed down or only possible out of the zone
-Zone needs to not have a 1080 degree radius
-Lights should be slowed down by roughly 100-200ms
-Dodge stunning tap should be removed entirely (he is a vanguard not orochi)
-dodge stun tap needs MUCH more gaurdbreak vulnerability
-he shouldn't be able to answer gaurdbreaks with lights
-sprinting grab should have more recovery after kneeing the enemy in the face as to not basically garuntee a free attack after already doing 15 damage plus a stun
Basically raider is just so strong whenever I get matched against them and have my first encounter that is usually awful, I just sigh and start watching a youtube video while I mindlessly run around doing objective hoping to avoid the rep 70 raider who spams lights and stunning tap.
Sakura is not someone I'm dying to see nerfed. Raider is (along with other heros)
Okay the Hitokiri bit; she can feint late yes but you have to get your damage in somehow. The main play for her is dodge kick timing and roll if the sweep is coming. It negates her mixup.Originally Posted by CanadianSoupMan Go to original post

Warlords crashing charge was already nuked and made react able. His throw distance was fine as is. And nerfing his one aspect of decency without compensating is exactly how we continue the cycle of cruddy heros.
Yes her throw distance is pretty strong all things considered. It's still an odd choice to do without any context. Considering these two changes were done for something on the future I doubt it's "these two heros throws were too strong so heres a nerf to rein them in" like you're suggesting.
