I've forwarded a whole lot of feedback on Hitokiri to the team (mostly HA-related, as you might imagine). As with all new heroes, a close eye is being kept on her.
Fix his fullblock and parry punish please

Short answer yes it has impacted how viable he is.

Please wait until next season to understand why that is.

Not explaining why the devs nerfed him and writing it off by saying "maybe it will make more sense in year 3 season 3" is just rude to warlord mains if its not going to make sense until then why not wait until then to implement it.

Exactly my thoughts as well. Why not nerf him when it does make sense? With each update the devs are making it easier to turn away from this game, where is Raider's throw nerf? Or is he scheduled to rule the tier lists for 5 months before he is brought back in line with the other's?

If anyone's throw range is too high it's the Raider, not only can he carry you halfway across the map, he also drains your stamina while HE carries YOU! Even if he misses the ledge and you hit a wall he gets to knee you in the face and gets a free high damage zone attack. The balancing from this dev team has become absolutely abysmal, after all these years it feel like it's getting worse.

I'm ok with nerfs that make sense, honestly. Less throw distance might be good for the overall game, and if it brings attention to the warlord's overall problems then that can only be a good thing

    1. Sakura is good as she is right now, any kind of nerfs will bring her down to shoguki level aka trash tier level where every mix ups of her can be countered be just roll or dodge.
    2. Warlord nerf was necessary for y3s3 & also he was a one trick pony who does nothing but gb or unlock charge.
    3. Shaman's throw distance was bit much considering how capable & well-rounded she is.

I agree with your thoughts on Sakura and Shaman, but your reasoning behind the WL, not so much.

You admit he was a one trick pony, and his one trick was his throw distance and running charge, now that it's gone, he's a no trick pony, with no strengths, his one strength was his throw distance.

Do you think that's fair for people who use him? I can tell just by your post that you don't play him yourself.

Did anyone else notice warlord can't get a guaranteed heavy on crashing charge if warlord locks onto the enemy when they wall splat?

Can't get damage off blocking with fullblock either unless it's a non DLC hero.

Warlord is the old shugoki now

even tho characters with hyperarmor like
sakura who cannot live without hyperarmor
it is a given fact that hyperarmor causes
more people to turtle up than by throwing
lights and mixups what I'm saying
    is hyperarmor just increases the
turtle/nonoffensive meta even more and it should be removed

I would say the viability has taken a fall. You can barely get a wall stun and if you do the stamina damage only works half the time. It’s pretty frustrating but thank god I play other characters.
