    Lets talk about Rifles especially in PVP

    (I will do my best to communicate what is wrong with them) I will start out with this, I LOVE RIFLES. What I mean is that I love the feel of them with their semi-auto fire. They are my favorite class of guns in the division but lets be honest they are TERRIBLE in PVP as in completely useless when compared to Assault Rifles and LMG's hence why you never see them in Conflict or the dark zone unless your just using them to farm gear as they are decent in PVE if you spec it right. The only time they were good in PVP was before the title update that gave us the armor buff. Now there are a few reasons why this is the case. This armor buff has combined with the quick time to kill of the other guns has just made Rifles useless in PVP. Do to the armor buff, a buff of Rifles might be necessary or at least a PVP modifier. Now lets say that the base damage is fine there are some other issues with the talents. First Rifleman talent- this talent has huge potential but it is never used because of the blue requirement which is less then 4 blue attributes in order to unlock it, this makes almost every single chest talent not viable as Unstoppable force requires blue attributes along with Bloodsucker and unbreakable. Three great talents not being able to be used right there because of one gun talent. Not to mention you cant use Berserk because that is for Lmg, shotguns, and Assault Rifles. It would be great if it was available for Rifles as well. Lastly the Rifleman talent itself needs a buff as soon as you miss one shot your damage buff is gone just like that and in a PVP situation where everyone is running around it makes it almost impossible to ever get the full buff unless someone is literally not moving at all. In my opinion it should be if you miss a shot you lost one stack instead of the entire thing but again that is just my opinion. This is just how it is right now and after much testing its official something needs to be done developers. I have tried every single combination of talents and attributes for them and they are useless right now in any PVP situation. Please devs before the next update please do something about this as the Rifles have HUGE potential to be that skill weapon where headshots skill matter and that allows you to practice and get better as the Rifleman talent combined with entrenched is so much fun in PVE. I am all for suggestions and opinions on this subject but this need to be talked about or else Rifles will just be left behind.

    LASTLY: Critical hit damage on Rifles: Really Devs? Not sure what the line of thinking is on this one as Clutch and every other critical hit damage talent doesnt work with Rifles.

    ...that battle rifles should have bonus armor damage instead of critical hit damage -- the latter is near-useless in light of how MMR's and battle rifles function in TD2.

    Armor damage DEFINITELY makes more sense with rifles.

    Crit is a jabroni decision. Only point of crit is with higher RPM weapons where that opportunity to crit happens more often...thus that damage as a bonus makes sense.

    Or they could have made rifles DTH and ARs DTA (like in Div 1) which makes more sense when you think about it given that the higher RPM of ARs technically "breaks" armor better anyway...but that would probably mean a double advantage which wouldn't be great either.

    If ARs are to stay DTH making rifles DTA really makes a lot of sense and would make them viable beyond PVE, particularly as part of a team as basically everything minus SMGs is technically viable as a solo player.

    In the PVP sense that DTA may allow you to bet out an AR guy by getting through his armor HP faster...because if both of you get to health HP around the same time that AR is absolutely going to MELT you since that's where it bonus is.

    Dude is getting his bonus the entire time (in addition to being able to crit on top) while you are hoping/praying for that crit hit that in the end doesnt even amount to a lot of extra on top.

    If the AR hits ONE OR TWo shots in the time you get your crit with a rifle it has already made up the difference at worst and surpassed your bonus by a lot at best.
