    Hade's enemies extra spongey?

Is my build just outdated, or are all the enemies in Hades just crazy high HP? Fights with just regular enemies take like 30 seconds just to kill one guy. Feels like "content padding" and its quickly becoming tedious.

Yeah I noticed that too. They seem to be stronger or at least with high armor, since I can assassinate all of them without the critical assassination ability but when it comes to close combat, they last significantly more than any other enemy in the game.

I’ve played a bit. They’re a bit more spongey, but I’m still dispensing them very quickly. I like it, personally. I play on normal, with heavy scaling, using only Legendary gear. I constantly switch up my combat style and the gear I’m using.

But, I’m finding some stuff way too easy though: the elites and bosses. I don’t like that. It seems like they increased the difficulty of the basics a bit and neglected the elites. It could just be my build, though: engravings and master abilities that increase damage for bosses and elites. I may need to dial that back to balance things out, but I absolutely hate the thought of purposely nerfing my build.

Ubi did the same thing with Origins: the DLC opponents were a bit tougher than the main game.

All I know is I just can't defeat Hades in normal difficulty. He's one powerful sob. Tried and failed 3 times already. Guess I need to switch to easy for this one see what happens.

I've played both chapters of Fate of Atlantis as an assassin build and have had no real issues with killing enemies. I did, however, switch to a warrior build for the "bad" dog trophy. Some of the harder bosses take more than a few assassinations to drop. ( By the way, I am only about one-third of the way in.)

They seem to have a significant increase in the amount of armor.

I had 1 last location to clear before I took on Hades, I had 2 rifts to seal, so I had that new fallen gear equipped, so I got it done then set out for Hades, thinking there might be possibly 1 more challenge left, but there wasn't. I forgot to change my gear. I put up a decent fight, but was desynched. So started again with the set that I've used 90% of the time over last month or so, & it was still a decent fight, but having decent armour that you're used to helps.

Yes armor matters. I did it in my 4th try finally. Apparently I'm no master at dodging and this fight requires a lot of it. Playing more carefully I managed to defeat him.

Now who effin bows dear Hades !

I've beaten almost all of the Fallen so far using only my assassin skills. It is not easy, but it can be done. Probably will switch out to my warrior build for the endgame.

That's brilliant! I didn't think to take a pic. As twisted & evil as Hades is, I really like having him as a character in the game. That bow comment was like a red rag. I would have loved to have kicked his head afterwards. Well done, the pic says it all!
