Figure I would weigh in on lawbringer. I'll state that I like it, and I'm not in the GIVE HYPERARMOUR camp- I think instead the following changes should be made:
MORE STAMINA
Self explanatory, getting out of stamina from someone parrying your running attack is stupid. They should add a small amount of stamina in general and then also greatly reduce the penalty on your running attack being blocked or parried.
Long Arm -> Soft Feint into light.
Long arm is basically a useless move and only connects ~30% of the time in 4's anyway, so what if at the end of the startup you could soft feint it into a light attack with an animation similar to the light riposte - with undodgeable tracking and probably 500/600 ms timing. This is to catch early dodges on the move for a free light.
DEFLECTS BABY
What if, because of his incredible armour, lawbringer was the only standard guard hero in the game to have deflects? You could deflect an attack and then press guardbreak
for a free long-arm. Note that you need some stamina to get the full punish since it requires the stamina for the long-arm and then also the stamina for the heavy to pull off.
If you don't have the stamina to do all that, you could instead deflect->long-arm->soft feint into light for a lower cost punish.
For balancing reasons (if it needed it), it could be implemented that only side deflects are allowed. Deflects could also cost stamina, maybe.
