    Lag Switch

We came across a manhunt of (4) Players at DZ South today, it's very unusual when we came near them we encounter lagging. They killed us all in just a few seconds.

    Does anyone experienced it?

A lag switch is a piece of equipment installed on a home network that temporarily delays the flow of traffic to the internet. In an online gaming context, the physical toggle can be switched on to delay gameplay to give the lag switcher the upper hand.

One example that indicates a lag switch is being used is if the opponent jumps around on the screen when you shoot at the character. Or maybe the character will appear invisible and completely unscathed from point-blank shots.

I have a buddy that lags sometimes. When he is lagging his character just runs in place and he can't do any damage. On his screen he is moving around just fine.
Most likely either you were the one lagging or you just got killed by better players and have to find an excuse for it.

The (4) of us in a group all experince the lag switch. Here's the catch when we turn away from the manhunt we never experienced lag at all, only when we came near them we lag..

That's not how a lag switch works.

You can watch this to get an idea. The lag is not obvious on your part only your team mate can tell you are lagging.

When we hit them, nothing happens. This is what lag switch is all about delaying your shots.

So your evidence is a video from the laggy beta from a laggy Mexican player?

When you are lagging in this game, YOU can't do damage. So if they were using a lag switch, you could easily kill them because their character would be standing still in front of you or running in place in front of you.

You supposedly not being able to damage them is lag on your end.

Also it has nothing to do with delaying YOUR shots.

Lag switching is being used in game. Go ask the people that play all day every day. They know what it is and what it looks like and what happens. It is very hard to stop.

What concerns me the most are the people that are trying to discredit this post. Why? Are you a lag switcher?

Why do you need to cheat in a game? If you cheat in games maybe you should be seeking mental health help.
