Smooth way to make people who actually have the card, forfeit free elo. They're terrible unless they're grossly leveled up, and since nobody has Visitors, they'll be garbage unless they're one of those cards that benefits from others being used.
That said, are we getting common visitor drops for this event? Can we actually get some easy to get visitors please?
I think it's hard to tell the difference between two players you can beat easily. Right now a 300 point Skill Rating difference makes a huge difference, so since I sit around 6700 I have a very difficult time distinguishing between players from 5800-6300 and from 7200 and up. Honestly, I think the 7000 players probably can't tell the difference between me and a 6200 either - if I'm guessing, the competition in the 7000-7400 range is fierce and contains all the best level 3 legendary mystical/fantasy players as well as a bunch of people with level 4 legendaries but their legendaries aren't powerful enough to put them over the top.Originally Posted by wasteland44 Go to original post
But as for overall points, I'm concerned about the legendary cutoff as well and I hope that Redlynx is taking that into account. If points are leaving the system (and it sure seems like it) then it's not fair for second tier players whose points are all being stolen by top tier legendary players. And if you lower the overall point cutoffs for legendary but not any other tiers, then it's not fair for silver shield players. I'm in legendary so it doesn't affect me but I'm sure it is demoralizing if a silver shield player loses rank each season, and that would of course also make them more likely to quit, which I suspect Redlynx doesn't want. Now, the argument may be it also makes them more likely to buy ****, but the F2P base is important to keep this game going as well.

Legendaries in general are too powerful and as the skill ceiling climbs, commons and rares will be useless when lvl5 Legionaries start to appear more frequently. The problem has always been the drop rate of epics and legionaries being too far in between allowing commons and rares to level up faster. It was because of that we had the worst balance patch of all time that blanket buffed all the cards accept commons and forever screwed the game.
Next year the main issue for people will be Lvl 5 legends and even more people dropping down rank to avoid them.
Couldn't agree more. Buck, Toller, for the love of God, please nerf Mystic and Fantasy. It's impossible to compete with same or even higher level cards from Adventure / Sci-Fi.
1. A deck with Grand Wizard, Pope Timmy, Ninjew, Chicken Coop, Witch Doctor, Medusa Bebe is impossible to defeat, and literally everybody in higher ranks is playing it.
2. Neither Adventure nor Sci-Fi has a card equivalent to Transmogrify / Spontaneous Combustion. How and why? A player gets to have Grand Wizard and Transmogrify in the same theme but no such thing for Sci-Fi?! How do you compete??
3. **** Magic should be 6 Energy. Shieldmaiden Wendy and Blood Elf Bebe HAVE to cost 4 Energy. After the nerf you gave to Bounty Hunter Kyle, this is the LEAST you can do.
4. Incan Craig and Fireball should be 4 Energy to compete with Mystic / Fantasy. Bounty Hunter's movement speed needs to drastically slow down if you're not going to reverse his nerf. Arrow Storm needs to do at least 400 damage at Level 4 and scale.
