Your numbers have dropped off massively in the past week or so. You are losing players FAST.
Maybe you'll finally see that you need to stop catering to the Casual PVE players cuz they are not what will keep this game popular in the long run.
What made the Division 1 so popular for so long even though it had an insane amount of bugs and glitches?? It was the Pvp. It was so fun to play and fun to watch.(until you came out with Rogue 2.0) It was decent sized streamers playing the game for hours daily. Pvp was so fun.
Don't get me wrong I love PVE in Division 2. But the PvP is in a TERRIBLE state right now. The hardcore PvPers and streamers are what keep games going nowadays.
All the Big Division Streamers and YouTube creators are already starting to play other games. even the really loyal ones like, Epic SLayers, Jesimien, LikeButter, Widdz, Marco ….I can keep going. Fix the DZ easy. Rogue 1.0
Make all 3 Dzs just like Rogue 1,0 No bull **** toggle. No rogue cooldowns.
No checkpoint turrets to protect the Casual Pve players. There is an insane amount of different PVE content, there is no need for someone to go in the DZ if they don't want a fight
We want a dark, dirty and dangerous DZ.. Balance some **** out and the PLayers will come back to the DZ. Streamers will start playing and your numbers will go back up
Make the DZ Great Again!!!
all this claim about players number dropping , players are leaving are all BS unless you provide factsOriginally Posted by TimBradyQB12 Go to original post
give us the facts/figures and then we can talk
If the PVP was really that popular wouldn't you have thought the game developers would have noticed and made more PVP activities in Division 2? I think you're confused OP, PVP should be dropped if anything, the PVE is the player base. The reason this game is losing players has nothing to do with PVP or PVE it has to do with broken mechanics and a terrible loot system which is entirely broken. The decision to lock loot rewards content to weekly missions has also caused players to quit. There is absolutely no reason to grind missions over and over as the rewards are trash 99% of the time and can only be claimed once per week. Why grind the raid? To get rewarded trash gear that you can get doing 2 missions......locking drops to only occur once per week is what is killing the Division 2, not PVP issues. I've completed the raid 4 times, I have never gotten a key drop off the last boss, I've gotten keys, useless dark zone keys.....which should never drop in any PVE activity yet they do. The gear I got was 100% trash and not worth the effort. If it wasn't for the fun of playing a mission with 7 others I'd never do the raid again.
I dont have any numbers or any facts. But i am pretty sure that it is the casual and hardcore PvEers that keep this game going.
They are the base in game. DZ people are not many compare to the others they just get along for the ride and get most of the attention.
Just beacuse it is DZ.
I'm up for better balance and bug fixing to make DZ more interesting and they already announced plans to make occupied DZ more interesting rogues and people that like to camp checkpoints if thats your thing, i think having both types of DZ is good, it's just that they clearly expected that changes on the fly would have no issues and instead we got a bugged mess
Personally I think 1 DZ should be the super hardcore pvp everyone wants, one should be the middle ground, and the 3rd should be PvE oriented. Everyone hates casuals, but they're the lifeblood of any game. However, they also need to be ignored. HmmMmmMM?! Yes. Casuals are the largest part of the player base, but they're also the worst when it comes to calling for nerfs to put everything at a brain dead level. They usually get it and end up killing the game when the hardcore players leave.
You need to stick to your guns and give "elites" and grinders content as well no matter how much the casuals ***** that X content release wasn't for them. They will never be happy with any difficult content.
It's a fine line. But the key is easy repeatable content with slow but predictable progression for casuals and elite level content that focuses on difficulty with low drop chance but powerful weapons/armor for everyone else.
Dying the division 2 is straight up dead. I am a huge fan of the division but between the loot drops and the armor glitch they have killed this game. When I did get good loot it was from the occupied Dark Zone me and 3 of my friends could run through it easily now you don’t dare because all of you can be killed by one person with 900,000 armor.
