Is Massive and/or Ubi going cheap?

What is wrong with the server lag nowadays. There seems to be a huge increase in the loading times, lag and server response times. Just tried kill a boss and actually needed my Recovery Link during the fight. I noticed that when fights start the frame rate dropped so much you can hardly shoot straight or move around. But of course server side all bullets are flying in my direction resulting in massive damage at once when the packages arrived. Never had the RLink pop in LZ before, normally it only takes few hits to take them down. And whenever you get close to the boundary of the dark zone performance drops significantly as well for whatever reason, I am still roaming in my private session without other players, or at least it should be. Same happens when you go to base, always notice that loading icon in bottom right corner, which also never happened in the past. I am sure it isn't my connection because I can download a game of 70GB under 2 hours.

I suppose they are either losing money on The Division franchise and drastically cutting costs on server performance. Or they just don't care anymore and let The Division 1 just die out hoping that remaining players will go out and buy TD2. Either way I think it is cheap and totally not respecting their customer base. And I am not speaking for those who spent thousands of hours already like myself but for those who very recently bought the game. It is just shameful and it completely convinces me of not buying the sequel because that is what eventually will happen for that game as well. But apparently players have to deal with huge lag and never ending stream of bugs in there already.

The thing I have noticed more as of late is the bug where if you shoot and detonate your sticky, if you throw your seekers, they will track towards the enemies, then do nothing. They won't explode, and you can't deactivate them to start the cooldown. It used to happen but lately it has been very often.
I have also been experiencing the infinite reload bug more too. I understand it is just desync issue, but it should have been fixed long ago..

I am not holding out hope they will make any further improvements on TD1. I was glad they scheduled out the GE's for the next year. At least there is that. Maybe by then they'll have fixed TD2 and I'll give it another go.

Guess they are having serious issues with their server performance or simply shut them down. Cannot get into the game anymore, character selection loads fine, then get infinite loading screen to get into the game and it results in Delta errors. I was having multiple issues with skills, as soon as I used them the game just stuttered and paused. I can actually see my system go idle when I engage with AI, anywhere in the game. This definitely has to do with server response times, or lack of it.

Will see what happens, I've been having issues since last GE ended and if it isn't resolved soon then it's the end for me in The Division. Just no fun in having to deal with this nonsense all the time and certainly not going to venture in the next one with the endless stream of bugs and glitches.

If you are getting consistent Delta errors, you can try a quick reinstall of the game. Or, if that does not help alleviate the issue, reach out to Ubisoft Support and they will try to help you find a solution.
