    Aha, very hard attempts.

"Back-On-Track" exploit it is something new, right. It was never exploited in TC1 and since begining of TC2 nobody knows about it before this moment. Thanks to Madman for open our eyes!

You looking for miscreants in wrong place. Need to remove bugs, not scores.

    Ahh, comrade Akorrr.

    Agreed and disagreed.

Agreed that they have to remove these bugs and act more actively to avoid exploit abuse to begin with.
Disagreed on the high score removal. If they do not deal with this, you guys will continue to abuse glitches and ruin yet another game.

The only way is to make an example out of players who deliberately abuse game flaws to gain an unfair advantage.
Remove the scores, without the option to re-do them and lose the bonus car and other perks.
Also hand out a warning, so it becomes clear that this behavior is not tolerated.

The simple fact that some of you are actively hunting for these "Bugs" to exploit, already gives it away.
It has also come to my attention that some of these "finds" are shared as "treasures" between certain groups of dirty players.
So you can brag among each other who is the biggest cheat and knows the most dirty tricks in the Crew2?

    Exploit abuse is cheating. Period.
Playing the game not as it is intended by the dev team.
Unless you can prove that they deliberately messed up the [RESET] function so you guys can abuse that and piss off other players with unobtainable scores.

Fact remains that some of the real good players moved on to other games (since Crew1), because of this glitch abuse and the reluctance from the dev team to deal with the perpetrators.

Some ways to get these scores are funny, like the Frauscher Boat drop you did to get the speed record. But in that case it stated "no limits", so the dev team was looking for creative solutions to get the high scores. That is deliberate and intentional.

Using "back to track" and drive against the race direction is not. That is cheating. Plain and simple.

Let the devs delete all times in the summit events that are dirty just before the end after a few weeks of crying they should get the message.

Deliberately abusing programming errors to gain an unfair advantage in competitive events is also cheating.

Some think you can only cheat by using external hacking tools.
Those are indeed the worst cheaters, but exploit abuse as explained and shown in this thread is also considered as cheating. By the majority of the gaming community.
Only those who use them as well are in denial.

In E-Sport events you can get banned for using it. And dev teams lock scores and stop events, until game bugs or other potential exploits are fixed.
Of course there is more at stake over there than in a "friendly" Crew competition. But that does not change any of it.

Only real solution is for the dev team to fix any chance to use bugs to set high scores.

The people who are using these glitches often excuse themselves, by stating that if they don't do it, others will.
Just a lame excuse to justify evil and un-sporty deeds. Don't sugarcoat it.

I consider it to be similar to stealing.

And some of you just got busted.

"Exploitation of any new or known glitches or bugs which provide an unfair advantage over other Users is strictly forbidden and may result in character stats and progression resets, Account suspension or revocation."

"Triggering and using a bug or glitch, or bypassing established Game rules by to gain a significant advantage or skip progression steps otherwise necessary."

TC2 Code of Conduct. Based on that allone everyone who is using glitches and bugs for advantages should have been banned.
Take Saunikis for example every Summit and most likely ever since that person started playing his/her account should have been terminated given he/she breaks this every single time he/she can.
It doesn´t say anything about the use for educational purposes, so i don´t say anything there.

I´d like to know from a Ubisoft/TC2 official what exactly falls under their Code of Conduct in terms of cheating/bug and glitch abusing, given that they don´t explain much there.

Does back on track abuse count for example? Because the way it works now it can be abused like shown in Lunytrickz´s video

    Not a long read: https://thecrew-game.ubisoft.com/the...ode-of-conduct

    - If the same thing existed in one game, after that devs copied it in the next one...
    - If people who using this thing don't getting any warnings or bans...

Maybe it's not a bug or glitch, but intend in-game feature?

    Spoiler:  Show

And btw there was some rule on forum about it "Naming and shaming" (or somehow like this, I may be wrong)
I wonder how you all here don't get warned/banned for it.
Or I'm wrong and personal flaming and accussing others with names in cheating now on forum is allowed. Back in time I remember I got warning or even bans for it on TC1 forum.

    Well ... have fun.
I lost interest to this discussion already, since i see nothing new here. Nothing get changed, nobody of you don't learn a lessons.
