Really? That is... crazy. LOLOriginally Posted by BioXTC Go to original post
Nemesis takes time to charge and take headshots. By the time you charge it, they would have duck or hide or run around faster than you can blink.
Nah ah... 72 Headshot with that weapon isn't...
Challenge mode 72 headshots is totally possible..
Nemesis isn't that hard to use once you get used to it and realize you don't need a full charge to finish a mob off..Especially in a group where mobs may be worn down some already by other players.
Plus who is to say all the kills were done with one weapon or one shot kills?
It's total head shots from all weapons and from mobs with any amount of armor or health left.
You need to practice your headshots, bud. I'm disappointed if I ever get anything less than 80 per cent headshot kills.Originally Posted by lair360 Go to original post
Also, the Nemesis lowers your general accuracy (because npcs will dodge at the last second) but increases your number of headshot kills (a charged/semi-charged Nemesis headshot is almost a guaranteed kill).
Since the post-mission stats have been introduced, I have been slightly shocked by just how low the number of headshot kills are by players on pc. It's actually rare to see players hit double-figures even.
Not really. You only need to full charge for elites for the most part. You can 1 shot reds and purples in the 2-3s it takes to mouse over their heads. Doesn’t take longer than something like the m700.Originally Posted by lair360 Go to original post
Once you get used to sniping you can snap snipe pretty reliably even with the erratic AI. I’d expect around 60% accuracy and 70-80% headshot kills minimum from a good nemesis player.
You just haven’t seen one in action before apparently heh. They’re pretty rare honestly. I main nemesis in missions and it’s surprisingly rare to see someone pure nemesis sniping let alone be great at it, so I understand the skepticism.
its not impossible. impossible is a big word my dude. ive seen more impressive numbers actually.Originally Posted by lair360 Go to original post
it also depends on the randoms you get matched with. sometimes they are really bad and it makes my own stats look extraordinary.
*reminds me of marco's world first where a whole bunch of people were accusing him of cheating because "nobody tracks moving heads so well" ; but he was actually missing a whole lot of shots and wasn't being all that precise lol.
