Wu Lin came in Marching Fire with new feats with ver specific effects, and the two new chars (Vortiger and Sakura) did the same.
We all know that Sakura’s feats are way too oriented to Breach game mode, uninterruptible executions, execution that heals all the people around + hard hit over final boss.
I think it is time that old chars can get some new feats that could be oriented to different game modes and not the classic bomb, bow, etc shared by two or three heroes.
It would be nice that a fourth option could be added on each feat level (to avoid removing any of the existing ones) just to have more tactical advantages when playing some game modes.

The first thing they need to do is rebalance the current Feats that we have already. We have a few too many auto includes and almost as many pointless Feats.
Once the above is addressed (and it could easily be done in 1 patch). I would much prefer every character in the game to have a new Feat for each level. So 4 per level in total.
Exactly what each character would get would vary. To figure out what would be done, the vanilla characters would need a Feat theme identity similar to how the Wu Lin and Y3 heroes have. Some already do, such as the Conquerer and the tank/turtle theme but not all.
Next would see new and unique Feats adding for each of the vanilla characters, some will be given more than others. The newer characters will simply be given a relevant and generic Feat for each level to keep things even. The S1 + S2 DLC characters will be a bit more awkward as some did better than others for new Feats but the overall results would be the same.
As for new Feat ideas? Well we would need to discuss what identity we think each character should have for any new Feats to be based on.
