Don't give me that "it is hard for devs". Loot is an integral part of the game play. Always has been and games did usually get it right.

However we are seeing a shift to "live service" bs and that radically changes the nature of the business and...well....the game.

Loot is restricted and made convoluted on purpose throughout the game industry to create player engagement to circumvent having to actually design and develop content. It is the proverbial stick and carrot endlessly hamsterwheeling the players. Per intentional design.

This has nothing to do with "poor devs"...it has everything to do with business models of the industry.

We will enjoy the game when we will have something to enjoy. Rolling slot-machine for for item is fun for addicted, not for others. We were enjoying game while progressing through story (if that could be called a story). Now we complain. Because the only content in game is rolling random items in loot.

    Give me a break.

Its a LOOTER shooter....Loot is literally suppose to be half of the game. Div2 just happens to have one of the worst implemented and lazy loot systems I have seen.

This is EXACTLY what is wrong with forum communities. Not only is your logic flawed, but it's counterintuitive. They read the topics, trust me.

1.3, the darkest days of TD1.

One wonders why they took such huge steps backwards in the TD2 WT5.
One wonders why they aren't willing to allow the reclaibration of both a talent and an attribute.
One wonders why they specifically do not allow crafting to be able to fill the wholes once your over 490.

Occam's razor tells us they just want us to get frustrated of the grind and stop playing.

They read but do nothing. So, we will annoy them until they fix the f**king loot.
I got all my current gears before TU3 update. Now, days after days, I don't get anything even close. All loot I'm getting now is much worse.

Really, the one thing that they should change to make farming gear more desirable is to make even the worst rolls on GS500 items equal to the best rolls of GS490-GS499. It's so very frustrating when you have gear below 500 that's just always better than almost any GS500 items. I don't know why the cap isn't GS490 since there's really no benefit to higher level gear at this time.

Hopefully they will correct this at some point.

Say that out loud to yourself a few times. When you're done with that, I want you to think about all of the different things communities have vehemently asked for.

The only thing you're doing is annoying us and trying to set a precedent that essentially echoes the sentiment of, "The louder I am the more correct I am". Not only should that ideology NEVER be grounds for change or evaluation, people who use it/say it should be instantly banned until their parents can go through a rigorous process of checks and balances to make sure that 10 year-old Billy can get online and state his oh so important opinion ad nauseam.

Gear Score absolutely matters. If gear score didn't mean anything then it wouldn't need to exist, and it wouldn't be the basis for participating in certain content such as the raid, or strongholds while progressing through world tiers. The score affects the min/max of all rolls on an item. So if an item is rolling at lower gear scores the chances of the item being inferior to what you already have is increased quite a bit.

If you are max level and the majority of the items you pick up are not, it's very discouraging. There is already enough RNG involved in the loot that will make finding that nice upgrade a challenge. There is no reason to make it considerably more difficult by also making the score of that item random, with the chances of it being lower than what you already have higher.

If I could swap a red with a yellow or blue (or any combination of the three) loot wouldn't be so bad. But having to configure builds for one talent then play musical chairs with gear to unlock another talent if your RNG is anything like mine is a bit nutty. I just put together a build last weekend with the numbers i want but the actual attributes are so trash.
