    Loot is so bad...

Been farming level 4 control points all last week. Been doing the same heroic mission 15 times today. All this to get GS 500 items... All this for nothing because I trashed everything I got because it was irrelevant items.

I've been farming 25000 items since the launch of TD2 and still I can't get the perfect builds I want.

DON'T YOU GET IT MASSIVE ???

MAKE EVERY DROP IN WTF5 TO BE 500 GS ( was always max 450 in wt4 so why is it different in wtf 5 ? )

MAKE A LOOT SYSTEM WHERE PLAYERS CAN DO CERTAIN ACTIVITY FOR CERTAIN REWARD OR REMOVE FROM THE LOOT POOL CERTAIN BRAND OR ITEMS THEY DON'T WANT ( seriously 1/2 hour to raise and clear a level 4 control point just to get 2 badger tuff useless items and 3 mods )

Life is such a p.o.s full of frustration so why should I have to deal with the same issue in a video game supposed to please me ?

Done farming for today I go watch tv instead. You've lost an agent tonight.

By the way : ALSO FIX THE ARMOR EXPLOIT RIGHT NOW AND LIFE BAN ALL THOSE EXPLOITERS !!!

It's better than it was, but I agree with you. Once you get to GS 500 you shouldn't get anything except 499/500 drops.

Agreed. I'm currently GS 497 and everything I get (including GS 500 items) is worse than what I have...

Why are you so worried about gear score?

I found I get better items from doing missions and gaining xp to get proficiency caches. Rarely do I ever get good rolls on gear crate items. I’ve all but stopped ‘farming’ and just play the game now. I might get a handful of really good items in a week tbh. Seems fine. I’ve been able to loot and put together what I think is 4 really solid builds since TU3 launched and I missed a good chunk of that time after surgery.

Also FYI I pulled 43% DTE on a 492 mask. Don’t buy into all that GS hoopla. Stats are stats. GS is mostly irrelevant 490-500 as far as stat and attribute rolls as far as I can tell.

Gear-score is completly relative, I got items with a lower gear-score and better rolls than some items with higher gear-score. The Division 2 is completly asymetric - more than it's predecessor. You (all) should consider that.

I still haven't log until yesterday because thinking about it today, they didn't even mention anything in the SOTG about loot and I was mind blown, 45 mins of AI talk...really?.... I think they think the loot is ok while people are quitting because of it... So me to I'm kinda of in a thinking of just quitting until the loot gets back to launch drops..like why am I running myself down with great gameplay but no loot when i will get tired of the gameplay by never getting appropriate loot or a sence of progression or even build out my loadouts with different builds...never going to happen this way, so I'm ma just stop now before I run myself dry from the gameplay aspect...2 months now with this terrible loot systems worst i have ever seen it feels like a self sabotage...from and amazing launch loot was ok.....

Asking why players care about gear score is absolutely asinine. We graduated world tiers 5 times. The best chance for success in the level of difficulty provided in WT5 is with level 500 gear. Maybe the difference in stats between gear score 450 and 500 is small on armor, but on weapons, the difference is quite large and quite multiplicative. You cant play the raid without certain gear score. The original hardwired set blueprint garnered me lv460 pieces that I could not wear in the raid because it brought my gear score average down too much despite having a desirable hazard protection roll. The higher my gear score, the higher the gear score of items I get in the future. The game is likely to have more content that requires a certain gear score. Higher gear score items sell more to vendors as they are more valuable. Its quite possible that changes to the game may solidify the range of attributes gear has depending on its gear score, and no one wants to be holding low scored gear when this happens.

In a quagmire of problems upon problems within the loot system, keeping players from having a chance at possibly moving the RNG slider slightly in their favor (the GS system) can't be justified for any reason other than to stalling players and artificially giving them something to do.

In my opinion, gear score is probably #30 in the list of things that need to be addressed in this game, but I respect and sympathize with other players who do care. Having to explain why they care about gear score should not happen. If you want to ask someone why gear score matters, ask devs.

Loot's pretty good over at TD1. Decided to start a new toon, so just left Brooklyn.
