I'm GS 500 but can't craft anything over 490, if I'm lucky! It's useful I must admit if you get blueprints for magazines or maybe scopes. But other than that what good is? Can't buy decent blueprints. And I have no interest in grinding for more exotic parts to upgrade the exotics I have. Getting tired of grinding when GS500 gear stats are worse than 498 & 499 GS gear.
This. I used it a couple of times while leveling up. I went forever without an AR drop for one character, then I remembered I had a blueprint so I was able to craft a serviceable one.Originally Posted by TimesLostArc Go to original post
Now it just sits there unless I get a new mod blueprint or have to craft some “replica” items for a project. I also hope they have some improvements in mind.
I'm using both vendors and crafting table for when a pesky bounty that gives a crafting blueprint just won't get completed because it has some obscure drop like Badger gear or SMGs with Unwavering...both of those have been taking forever so I ended up just buying/crafting to finish them. That's about all it's good for....oh and making and upgrading exotics.Originally Posted by TimesLostArc Go to original post
Seriously? I didnt find the crafting table 1 bit useful on my 1-30 play through. I went there to see what I could make, and besides optics, the rest was complete trash, or way under my lvl, or simply not what I wanted. Now that I am 30, WT3, I went in and crafted some armor pieces, that on the icon, clearly says "Petrov Defense Group", but it commenced to build random other sets.....Originally Posted by TimesLostArc Go to original post
At this rate, that anti-loot box/gambling bill needs to apply the to whole of Division 2, this entire damn game feels like it was based on the lottery system from Vegas.....the devs got together and thought up every way to add RNG to every little damn thing to this game and its crafting.
Even in Division 1, on my first play through I didnt find it useful because the money made and the costs to use it were stupid high. In subsequent play throughs I used it quite extensively to change talents on my gear and stuff. Made my subsequent play throughs much easier.
Crafting gear at GS500 takes away from the grind in the game. I could see a cap of 495, but 490 is just fine. Out of all the threads talking about how superficial gear score is anyway and how they are still using that "God Roll" piece of 485 WT4 gear, you'd think comments like these would somehow align.
And all the comments here and not one person mentioned using the bench to craft protocol or system mods? Out of all the crap mods we get, which are essentially unlimited printer filaments, why not craft them?
