A higher gear score is required for playing raids in The Division 2 but my suggestion for a matchmaking system without upsetting some of the TD2 player bass once a higher co-op content has dropped for people to play is to implement another. By using this type of matchmaking system it would narrow down requirements for people to join in by only joining by using the required gear to do so. That way players won't feel abandoned in activities available to play for others due to requirements they don't have and can't get. Because gear statistics change throughout set gears over the games lifespan specific requirements should be needed to participate during new future content drops. My suggestion is called the Gear Criteria Ratio matchmaking system. Implementing this system will allow all aspects of Gear Score of gear sets into one removing the possibility of constantly dieing during a higher difficulty content drops. It might sound difficult than it is to create but just having a required Gear Score does not mean much else in game except progression to the end. Once implemented and does not help players join in it would say what gear you would need to participate. What do you think?
