Can State of the Game actually be about the State of the Game? | Forums

to get a true state of the game style podcast youd need it to be from an outside source.

they are way too deep into damage control mode for state of the game to be an honest podcast.

i was gonna suggest a few streamers for this but they all went away to "better" games already...


it's not looking great for twitch numbers either, always way down there deep into shame land.

*it's such a shame, this game couldve been a contender for constant first row on twitch ; but a few too many bad turns were taken.

Sorry I'm not a forum master yet, so I'm not down with the fundamentals of quoting. But I feel like every state of the game, they say wait next week. Just sayin.
To the guy who found the AI talk fascinating, good for you, nothing against you.
Just a lot of us thought it would've been more informational then that.
The lot of us being the guys excited for changes in the game and news.

Not true at all kid... okay, well you got me there. As to disagreeing with the criticisms of the game, that's not true at all. In fact I agree with a lot of the criticisms of the game. What I don't agree with is all the hate, rage and vitriol that people use when they post something. Calling devs incompetent, or making wild and baseless claims about this or that, or claiming certain bugs are "game breaking" are all just tools of trolls and haters.

If you have a problem with the game, you don't need to spew all the hate to get your point across. And you certainly don't need to lie about stuff. In the case of B_a_o, he completely ignored the part where they said the fix was coming next week just so he could rage on the forums that the the AI designer talked about AI issues and pretend like the devs were just restating the bugs without talking about the fixes that were incoming.

Yeah, that DK27 guy talks down to anyone that doesn't treat D2 like it is the greatest thing since sliced bread. He also spouts newbie level game facts like you don't know them and he is a gaming god for figuring that simple stuff out, it is rather ridiculous really, just a shill here, every forum needs one. You can put him on ignore though, that works well.

If by "talk down to" you mean "call out BS" then yes, I do. If you have issues with the game, fine. There are issues with the game. What I take issue with is the idiocy and trolling to make the game sound like it's completely broken and unplayable. That's simply not the case. If you have a problem with that, make a better argument than "this game sux and is dying".

This game is dying. Pull your head out of the sand. The raid was a massive flop. Everyone is pissed they didn't add match making and the raid is messed up on consoles.
So stop trying to be a white knight kid.
