Let's talk about Bank Headquarters Vault (Loot Cave)

So apparently, the bug was that enemies would only come from one doorway. Fair enough. Two doorways is easily managable. When I was doing these pre-patch, I figured that controlling two doorways was easy when they accidentally spawned from other room.

The preferred method now would be that we have at least two high cooldown reduction players, preferable 90%~ cooldown reduction. I coincidentally had a perfect build for this. Before I even discovered this on YouTube, I already had an 89% cooldown reduction build with DTE... in this mission, we have to be using skills + shooting. Shooting with DTE is perfect. Much better than "explosive" skill builds with cooldown.

So there seemed to be two ways to do this now. The first method without high cooldown reduction players is being a bit closer to bigger room but like a chokepoint with two doorways. The group I was invited to, they held that position quite well. Partially because I might've had 5 sec cooldown Flame Turret. If anyone came across me in LFG, they would be lucky. Some people don't even place their own Flame Turrets down. When enemies start coming, I had 12 Cluster Seekers. That's right. All of them tagging enemies about to run out of both spawns. But the problem with this version is slower killing of enemies. They are infinite. The faster you kill, the more loot you may drop before timer stops. So this gave not much loot.

The second method that I tried to encourage and did it very well with a friend who also copied parts of my build. He now has 88% cooldown reduction which is amazing, and DTE / weapon damage stats. So we both put our 5 seconds cooldown Flame Turrets at both doorways. We had one random down here with us, and other random to press the laptop. Then that random at laptop must run down to us and we have two people for each doorways. Turning turret off before empties fuel for 5 seconds cooldown. But throwing incendiary grenade when cooldown is good to keep the fire on them. Then putting another flame turret back again. Plus spamming Cluster Seeker Mines whenever available. Just dropping to feet with RB. It's fast than using pointless Hive Reviver, Booster, Chem Launcher or Oxidiser. And this method... we still managed to get 5 to 10 loot in 2-3 mins. So it is not completely patched. It is still doable. It seems like a bug was just fixed, rather than a patch.

I didn't even copy this from YouTube, the alternative method. It doesn't take a genius to figure it out. I have history of doing speed runs and spawn trapping.

Speccing into CDR is wasting slots (talents) by the way, the hard CD on skills is 10s and 1 mod will get you there easily with 40% cdr. Would you mind posting your build so I can have a look?

Alternatively, you can do pretty much any part of any mission and die to the last mob and do that part again, as everyone has most likely experienced many times. Or, play a mission with a timed bit, fail and start that part over, adfininum. The game gives you unlimited chances to succeed, and no penalty for death or failure. Its a broken system and most likely one of the main reasons they will never put in higher chances of getting better loot.

I knew about the spawning mechanic before the videos started coming out, yet never had an interest.... I was just like this is the thing people care about? 99% of the gear is trash. Anyway I have a friend who needed some general DTE talents so he wanted to try it and I was willing to help..... After about 20 min he was like this is the stupidest thing, all this gear is junk. So he asked me to run him on my 40 min LZ loot run. Can you imagine we got good items! not stupid sit in a doorway gameplay..... just gobsmacked that so many people are all about how boring the endgame is and how there is nothing to do.... so they all sit in a corner for hours.... No wonder most players can't raid

i think the reason players aren't raiding right now is because we don't have matchmaking, not because there wasn't a loot ''bug''
and on the loot, i really find doubtful you found any mask with atts rolled higher than 20ish% DTE, or any gear worthwhile at all tbh.
I don't think you're playing the same game as me if you have such crazy good loot drops.

I have multiple gear parts with over 20% DTE (averages round 24-26% if memory serves), it seems to drop in batches for me and mostly from challenge or invaded content.
You'll find purples drop with this the most regular so you can just transfer it.

Agreed, right now true itemization doesnt matter in regard to gearscore or where you are farming. A drop is a drop and could hit the powerball with a god roll or be like 99.9% of the usual trash we sell or DE. The current drop system is so annoying for many reasons with RNG, types of items, and much much more. Farming is literally emptying your inventory multiple times and sorting through the countless mods that you need to cross check in a terrible UI. At this point Id give up all my gear currently on my account if they just made recalibration work for 1 talent and 1 attribute on Chest/Back pieces only. That alone with COMPLETELY change this nightmare we are in.

I totally agree, once you get above 495 the loot is terrible. Overall the DZ is turning out to be much better...even with Rouge players shooting u in the back.

But its crazy....everyone now is trying to do this (match making on the bank is polluted)...but their getting it all wrong!

I play along for a while just for the laughs.....but in reality I think this may start to annoy alot of players wanting a decent mission play through i.e. trying to get the exotic rifle etc

I did not infer that players are not raiding because the loot cave was just made public for the people who never observed the mechanics and just "waited it out". After the first time I died on that mission I had placed a flame turret at the opening to the big room and discovered they just keep coming. That was back in March.... Just never really cared for sitting in a spot shooting at a hole.

My comment was aimed more to the fact that instead of actually playing hard content players are getting really good practice by sitting in a doorway with a flame turret. Regardless of MM players are still LFG on various internet sites or in the case of Xbox, the Division community LFG.

On my raid build my mask has 41% DTE and that is a little low, I have seen players with more. I think it caps at 55% give or take. My Nemesis has a total of 113% DTE and my AR or LMG has like 108% DTE.
