And it is players like me and you, who have been punished for YEARS by this game publisher becasue we clearly know what is right or wrong and don't need an official statement clearly explaining that giving yourself a 5 times the armor value by equipping a lower tier gear is unfair.Originally Posted by SIRLANCELOT444 Go to original post
Flashbacks to D1, and blue pistols with Coolheaded, Determined.
It will take WEEKS to be sorted out, remember their statement about patches a very long time ago? Apparently every patch needs to be approved first by SONY (enter your random invalid excuse here) etc before going live.Originally Posted by SIRLANCELOT444 Go to original post
Other developers take hours at worst fixing issues like this. Meanwhile, these monkeys are busy color correcting another series of fan made photos for their next state of the game.

At best this amounts to an exploit, nothing more (obviously open to argument but that's another discussion entirely).
An exploit IS NOT a cheat.
You are only to read the Code of Conduct for this to be blatantly obvious.
https://forums.ubi.com/showthread.ph...ode-of-Conduct
Now if we were to accept that this is an exploit, then at best a temporary suspension would be in order as per the above CoC.
So yes, any unfair behaviour will indeed be dealt with in accordance with the Code of Conduct.
Now here's the stickler:
You WILL NOT be told who is subject to sanction and when said sanction has taken place: You are not entitled to said info. It's none of your business.
The coarse of action would be to patch it. Banning players for their mistake is out of the question...Originally Posted by RichardOshea Go to original post
This silence only indicates that they're not punishing anyone, and simply didn't released a statement so people wouldn't go haywire with exploiting the normalized DZs.Originally Posted by Goo-Goo-Man Go to original post
They don't need to tell us who or how cheaters are gonna get punished, only that there will be a punishment for the exploiters after all.
If you really spend considerable part of your in-game time in these meaningless normalised game modes, your only course of action at this time is creating another character, farming low level gear (and mods, hello, it's been three months) and using it yourself. Or, like me, stay away from DZ and conflict.Originally Posted by bonngzilla Go to original post
It would be banning the player for their own mistake, namely exploiting a glitch with the intention of gaining an advantage, trivialising content and or disrupting the game. As has been demonstrated, this behaviour is not innocent; it requires specific action and prior knowledge of the method.Originally Posted by InfamousClub Go to original post

But using an exploit is cheating. All these people with 700K armor are using an exploit, which is known as cheating![]()
An exploit is a cheat, enabled by the game developer itself. It is, no matter how you look at it.Originally Posted by Goo-Goo-Man Go to original post
If a cheat maker was to create an almost invincibility, how would he go about it? By increasing the % armor value above regular values (I have all datamined spreadsheets for this game and know what is above and what isn't)
I don't care whether they get their accounts deleted or permanently banned (bye OWO clan, you had it coming) or suspended for a month. As long, as it is equal or more towards the people who's game experience they ruined (just like Valve did by making CS:GO free to play). Punishment needs to be made, and it needs to be made publicly and transparent.
Your "innocent until found guilty" doesn't apply in online games, they HAVE all the data they need. They always do. They know who moves more than allowed movement speed, who proc's more than allowed value off unstoppable force. It literally takes 1 search with the correct parameter in their database to get the EXACT list of the unfair players.
