Are gear stat modification cheaters like this not being banned?

So I keep getting into the same servers when I log in to play, and we keep coming across all the same players, because that’s how it works.

the problem with this trashy system is that we keep running across the exact same cheaters in the DZ, who’ve all cheat-recalibrated their gear to have 75%+ and above armor and weapon damage FAR BEYOND WHAT SHOULD BE ALLOWED without there being the gear recalibration cheat, etc...

Example: The attached photo shows just one of the guys from this entire crew who constantly run the DZ and NOBODY can beat them because they all cheat.

I'm sick and tired of this crap. I paid for a damn game which is supposed to WORK, and this doesn’t... its BROKEN. Just like Division 1, sadly.

I pride myself in not being a cheater, and actually having skill to the point where it takes a REALLY good crew to kill us... or in these instances, cheaters.

i am getting to the point where I just wont ever give another dime to Ubisoft/Massive. It sucks because their games rock, but they don’t ever seem to fix these problems or ban these cheaters.

    This is a normalisation bug.

The Devs are aware of the bug and are working on it.

There have been a number of threads already dealing with this very topic.

If they do ban them, i don't think this game will have any player base left, so, my guess would be that nothing is gonna happen to them.

Ubisoft's course of action is as yet unkown. But it would be extremely unwise of any publisher to be seen to allow this behaviour to persist, and by extension it would consitute the condoning of such behaviour if no action were to be taken.

You'd do well to remove that.

They said there would be no tolerance to cheaters in this game, as well as they've said there would be MM for the raids. I wouldn't get my hopes up if i were you...

    Incorrect.

    They have acknowledged the bug/issue.

They have further confirmed that the matter will be dealt with asap.

As regards to possible sanction, if any, they have numerous times in the past addressed the community and categorically stated that any sanctions undertook against any players is not subject to public discussion. In other words, it's none of our business, obviously.

Yet here we are, weeks since the issue has been reported, with no solution taking place. As with their previous releases, they choose to do nothing, rather than immediately reverting TB3 patches % armor values completely (which won't affect the regular playerbase - the CLEAN players - at all, since noone runs them NYWAY) and every single player who is unfortunate enough to get involved in normalised PvP suffering the consequences.

Where's Ubi mods when we need them?
I've already asked in other thread if cheaters are getting banned to a mod and all i've got in response was crickets.

    Incorrect on this one,

before we have purchased this game we have been reassured that this time, any unfair behaviour would be dealt with rapidly and strictly.

But we all know about the truthfulness of their statements by now. Shame.
