I hope so, it's getting a bit stale playing the 3 same maps over and over.
I hope we'll ever get to see the Wu Lin get their own maps and place in the faction war.
Speaking of Wu Lin maps... funnily enough I had a dream a while ago that I was playing For Honor on a beautiful new breach map (you know those dreams where you appear to be playing a game and then your vision goes from the tv screen to a character in it?). I only made it to phase 2 before I woke up so I'll try to describe what I saw ^^
We spawned somewhere in a big park/forest with a lot of nature and Asian architecture mixed together. In the middle of this massive area there was a big round lake with a beautifully made bridge. On this bridge there was a pretty big tower where you could access a rampart and a zipline (on the right side, next to the lake would be the healing point). Behind the lake on the left side of the park there was a gigantic Chinese (?) gate. It was red, had a special roof and was one of those opened gates. The ram would go through it (after passing by the lake on the left side). We'd reach an inner gate (front of the castle/temple) with two ramparts: one to my right and one above the gate to drop the cauldron.
After the gate was breached we'd go in the second phase and this would be the inner gardens of the castle/temple/whatever...? And then I woke up
I barely ever get dreams like that or even about video games, but I thought I'd just share it.
I don't even know what character I was, all I remember was that I was very impressed with the map, lol
What I definitely hope though, is that we will see new mechanics and tool added to Breach. Not always the same layout with the same number of archer points. Maybe also something else then a ram. A siege tower for example. Maybe not always a cauldron but a fire barrel throwing catapult. Somrthing of this kind.
Breach is cool, but doesn't live up to the original idea of a Siege Mode, when we don't get additional tools and are always bound to a linear and strict system. There needs to be more ways of playing/winning. More freedom in how to approach the conquest.
Also what would add a lot of diversity, is if we finally could directly command a small segment of (maybe also customizable) minions via QuickChat options. I would cry for such a function. It would give the game so much, if we could apply tactics and strategies directly (place archers, send AI officiers, etc), instead of playing the same map always the very same way. Also while waiting for a respawn with the tactical view over the whole battlefield, this would be amazing to fill the time gap.
Then also the though of upgradable minion "cards" would be something to grind for again.
I would like it if there was a breach mode that had a dominion quick respawn. The trade off would be multiple ballistas, multiple rams (ones you can take shelter under), catapults and only two phases: breach the wall, and breaking.
Breaking would be if defenders destroy all rams, they then have to kill the attackers. For the attackers breaking would be the same but would occur once the wall gets breached.
So essentially dominion with more stuff. Enough ways to kill people as to discourage the gankfest, but enough ways to get to the siege weapons to keep them from being overly controlling on the battlefield.
