Not a huge expert at playing her, but i noticed some weaknesses in the game, sure im diamond and i might have made alot of mistakes throughout this. Though feel free to tell me what i missed in the replies, and please, try to not be angry at me, im not that good with her. I'll write everything you said, as long as it seems good (:
Heavy Attacks
They are weak, i mean really weak, Neutral heavy should deal 30 damage, Chained one should deal 33 and finishers should deal 35 damage, while also
stunning the enemy depleting/ or setting them to 30 stamina, while having a changed animation, where she strikes with the spear with both arms on it, making the shield hit the target, further resulting in a short stun.
Charged Attack
Her heavies can now be charged to 1200MS, and also can be used inside combos, they can be thrown at any time between 800-1200MS and will deal 40 damage when fully charged. Has an animation where she grabs the spear with both of her hands and strikes when done, also you can bash/dodge + combo out of it, tricking some enemies. Has HA from 800-1200MS.
Recoveries
Should be 100MS faster, not much but will help.
Follow-Ups
Finishers/Charged Heavies will now grant you a 10 damage quick shield smack the opposite direction of your finisher's/charged attack, similar to her light finisher, but
a bit faster, can wall splat, but the recovery is bigger, meaning a heavy is not guaranteed and will count as a heavy chain starter, meaning you can get a 33 damage heavy that is not guaranteed, but could be used against assassins that are dodge happy. Or a 18 damage light that is guaranteed.
Knockdown Follow-Up
Damage is lowered to 22, but the delay window is a bit bigger, has HA from 400MS, counts as a chain finisher.
Soft-Feint Knockdown
By pressing "C" (default), which i recommend putting it to "Q", while charging an attack will initiate the sweep from the other direction of your attack, that is 600MS. Will track side dodges, and backward dodges, yet, well timed forward dodges will make you go too close to her, and her attack will miss, if timed wrong you get caught, has a 300MS dodge window from 100-400MS rolling is much safer.
I don't really think she needs another major rework per say. I think what she has is great:
Every possible chain, can throw a soft feint SB from any heavy, her heavies track nicely, fast lights, a nice back dodge to AB, a fantastic superior light attack, two different deflect options, her light finishers knock you to one side and could ledge or wallsplat, and sweep is pretty good methinks.
The biggest issue I have with Valkyrie are her heavy damage values. For one thing, I never understood why her first heavy does 24dmg. They couldn't make it 25dmg like others. Kensei's GB punish: 25dmg side heavy, or Aramusha's top heavy from a parry or GB: 25dmg.Even so, their neutral side heavies do 40dmg...
That's a small nitpick. There have been far too many instances for me where it would have been nice to have just one more point of damage, because it's possible not to always get the execution.
I at least think Valkyrie needs 25 or 30 damage starter heavies. Then the chained heavies can either go to 30 or 35dmg.
Now, all of Cent's regular heavies or 25dmg, but he has variable timing. He needs a rework anyway, so maybe he's a bad example. I think Valkyrie's heavies need to be buffed a tad. I'm thinking 25-30-35, to me that just makes the most sense.
I understand the devs wanted to make her mixup-intensive, but a lot of other characters are also capable of similar mixups and simply dish out more damage. Valkyrie IS capable of winning a fight, but she just takes longer, which isn't good for the current meta methinks. If she did more damage I'm sure she'd be scarier to fight again and pressure the opponent into parrying more, which would play into Valkyrie's game as a hybrid, punishing those who don't think more tactfully.
I don't think she needs charged heavies, don't even go there. She isn't a heavy, she's a hybrid.
The sweep soft feint would make her another Hitokiri or Shugoki. Not very original.
I dont think she needs that drastic of changes. I would just give her a better heavy animation/make her blocked lights not end her combo (one or the other), make her heavies do a bit more damage, and give her full guard while her back dodge shield rush is moving forward. See what effect that has then make any needed changes.
Edit: maybe make her finishers not so easy to get out of.

I see what you are talking about, and i might have made her a powerful rework, but she is in E tier, the bottom tier, she has no offense and don't get me started, her bash can be avoided easily if you are not a parry got, her lighs aren't that fast, and only top is 400MS, the counter light thing, useless if i use it 70% times i miss 20% it goes through without and 10% actually works, her only good tool is her back dodge into full block, charged heavies will make every thing harder for the opponent, not gonna mention you can bash, or go for a dodge light, those alone will make her a bit better, but i do agree she will be similar to ShugogkiOriginally Posted by MCBooma16 Go to original post

Ive been asking for a damage buff forever. Its pretty clear that everyone at least agrees on that. few other things of course would be awesome but lets start there! her recoveries are for sure bad and her sweep is quite hard to land (lucky to get one off in a duel). without landing a sweep her damage is quite pathetic. 24 heavies on a very slow attack is just unacceptable. yes, some characters have around 40 on neutral heavy. 13 damage on her bash is ok but i think the BKs bash damage is too high. i think its 17. its safer than valk bash and it awards 17 damage. maybe up the Valk bash damage to be 15-16(or lower the BK and Conq bash damage). she is one of the hardest players to get executions on with her crap heavy damage. 30 all sides would be awesome. that might be closer to the average of all sides from other characters. she also has the 2nd lowest HP in the game i believe so thats another good reason to buff her damage a bit. sweep is hard to do so maybe buff that to about 40. its hard to get more than one off in a fight so i don't think its too much. plus its a free GB on dodge unlike the risk free BK bash.(3 bashes..) i don't think she needs actual rework with charged heavies and stuff but just numbers would be fine. damage numbers, recovery numbers, maybe a little speed on the bash or sweep to make them a bit more viable. Honestly if the moves were a bit easier to pull off id be ok with such low damage. as of now one or both things need to be looked at.. maybe before 2020??>??>? Hang in there Valk Mains! feels Valk!!!
