It is because they are probably using cheat scripts, lag-switches, modded .exe files or other exploits. Nowadays 99% of the rogues and players doing manhunts in DZ are cheaters. And this not my opinion it's the truth when they openly discuss their cheats in chat. And Ubisoft or Massive isn't doing anything about it, so tip would be, walk the other way or switch session.
This is completely made up. While there are certainly cheaters, and some of them go rogue, just as many rogue hunt (i.e ruin the fun). My group did multiple manhunts today, and of course we were accused of cheating, but no.... we don't cheat and just enjoy the fighting. Unfortunately, not everyone you kill wants to PVP, but you don't know that until they either fight back or don't. But, the fact that we flagged up and killed "you" doesn't mean we are cheating as this post seems to believe.Originally Posted by echolecter Go to original post
I would say maybe it's a slight exaggeration, but not completely made up. Maybe not 99%, but unarguably the overwhelming majority of rogues are cheating these days, because (as I've noted in my other posts on this topic) Ubi doesn't care and won't do anything about it. If you can get away with it, why not?Originally Posted by mccallew Go to original post
And no, I am not referring to the 4v1 ganks, which you cannot really tell if they're cheats or not because unless you're really, really bad it's almost impossible to not win with such odds. I'm talking about the guys who dump an entire clip on a Hungry Hog (100+ rounds) or The House (60+ rounds) instantaneously. So fast it sounds like one "bang" and literally that fast they'll rip through a Nomad proc (or two) and a Recovery Link. In under one second your 3+ lives are gone and you're down, so no amount of chicken dance or "git gud" is going to save you.
This I know is cheating, and there's no explanation of any kind that I'd accept as otherwise because it defies the hard limits of all the specs in the games...by a huge margin. I mostly stopped playing when 44 of 46 solo rogues I encountered (in a one-week period) were running this RPM hack. (Possibly aimbots too, though that's harder to prove.) The majority of these hackers are Brazilians, but not exclusively, and the first three encounters I submitted to Ubi (with video proof) and they did nothing, so like others have said, walk the other way (or quit playing) because it's now the price of admission into the DZ.
Just a comment: consoles and PCs never share the same network. I am not aware of any cross-platform game in existence. There's no technical reason they cannot, but because of the controller imbalance no developer allows it (no console controller can react same as a mouse+keyboard combo).Originally Posted by FSB.Alpha.Group Go to original post
If you are playing on an Xbox, any other players you encounter will always (and only) be on Xbox. Same with PS and PC, regardless of the game.
Can any of the ubi guys give us an answer on the cross platform compatibility ? Had a few discussions with my Dz wingman over this, he saying that pc and consoles share the servers and me saying they don't. Please say I'm right, or I'll never hear the end of his, told you so !
