Supposed to have a 5% chance of refreshing skill cooldowns on kills. Has a 60 second internal cooldown.
I've been using this perk on my assault rifle for 2 days now and not ONCE has it ever refreshed a skill cooldown on kill. I know 5% isn't a big chance but it should happen at least sometimes. Even tried it with a turret and drone on CD so there's a long cooldown period and time for the skill to activate and nothing.

Thanks for reaching out! As 5% chance is really low one it might take some time to finally get that perk active. As an example, it's a bit like rolling 20 sided dice each time and trying to get the same number, for example, 1. And each turn, you have to roll again. As you can see, the chance is pretty low, unfortunately. I hope it clarifies the situation![]()
I ran 3 entire solo mission and a stronghold to be sure I was getting the kills myself and not having a teammate get the last shot and kill credit.
I ran turret and drone so my cooldowns were at least 60-120 seconds each. My enemy kills were around 100+ each mission.
Talent did not activate even ONCE in 3 entire missions and a stronghold. It's either bugged, or your rng is broken. If I roll a 20 sided die 300+ times, I should roll that 1 at least once. This is NOT working properly.
Otherwords you DO admit that this talent is super lousy as the 5% chance is really low and most of the times don't proc. That is why i gave up on using this talent and just simply recal my skills so I get a 10s cooldown. Way to destroy skill build as most of the talents for skill build is useless ie perpetuation / spike. Hopefully something could be done to make talents more useful for skill build
