    RED NAT Problem 2019

Hi, me and my friends saw this game last year and though we could play it together but when all was done, all of us had RED NAT and could not connect. We tried port forwarding etc etc.. I tried submitting a ticket but the support guy just gives me link to a troubleshoot guide which I already followed still red NAT so after months we gave up and just uninstalled the game. That is until I watched a patch update that would not require NAT Type anymore officially so its been a year now and we would like to try again.

Question is tho is the patch applied do we no longer need NAT Type? Or was that some April 1st type of news?

Could you link me to what you saw or heard? I will reach out to the team for confirmation and clarification.

no, we have servers now since Season 5 (we are in season 10 btw or year 3 season 2). To play online there is no NAT required. However if you want to play custom matches THEN the NAT comes into play again. Not sure entirely though if you would require at least a yellow nat to invite sb into your group in order to play together as a team normally online

FYI if you want to get your NAT right you might want to show us here what ports you actually forwarded and maybe post a screenshot proving that in your router nat list.

So, NAT type only affect the ability to invite someone or get invited? Doesn't it affect the online random matchmaking and gameplay?

I wouldn't bother.. year 3 and still having constant drops mid game with 10-30ping.

Paid for the passes in advance because the concept was amazing. Connection is still spotty. Hoping E3 would be hype train.

Sad sad times we live in

I am not sure about the group building. But it only comes into play now when somebody is actually hosting a game (which should be self explanatory). In random online matchmaking however there is no not requirements anymore
