Hopefully not. AC already produces enough AC clones. It doesn't need another one, and it certainly doesn't need to co-opt other games into AC clonedom.
I think Ubisoft just jumped the gun and announced the game too early, before they really had a good understanding of what it was ultimately going to be and what was going to be necessary to make it be that. The game will come eventually, but it'll come on its own terms. If Ubisoft wants to make another AC game, they'll just make another AC game.
It Won’t be a AC game. As it’s PR campaign has been chosen as such since E3.
In truth, all the AC games since AC syndicate have not been AC games.AC OD- aka Mercenaries Creed was a rip job. And they should have learned from that nightmare. As this game is and has been criticized and review bombed to Hell by the AC fans.
Just look to YouTube.
However in regard to making this BF2, is actually what everyone wants. That seems to be the “new” plan. A world with the mechanics from black flag without the horse **** of the AC story. That would be great. A simulation that was promised by sea of thieves with photo realism and great exploration.
A game like that would destroy competition and would even crush WT3 as best RPG
After thought, ppl think I am against RPGs with story driven choices,
Not at all. I am playing through kingdom come deliverance and that game alone is better then anything that AC OD was.
Ubisoft needs to stop trying to suck investors private’s, and to actually make a good game. Hence why I hope sincerely they don’t label it AC- as it will give them creative freedom to do their ACTUAL Ac game,
Funny no? The AC games we wanted branded as a different IP. Sure, what ever it takes to get a proper game with out the BS.
The problem is all the complainers want an AC clone, but say they don’t. So it will likely end up being a bland AC clone under a different name.Originally Posted by Flawbringer Go to original post
